For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have been taking Sprintec since May 2016. I was doing great on the blue pill, but when it came to taking the white pill for 7 days, I would bleed for weeks straight at a time. So, playing doctor, I just started taking the blue pill and would skip over taking the white pill, and I would spot every now and then. When I did do that, I would have severe cramps (never had cramps before in my life) and decided to finish the pack as suggested (blue/white pills). Now it is August, and for three weeks I have been bleeding non-stop. I have not taken any of my blue pills since Sunday, July 31st, to see if the bleeding would stop, and sure enough, it HASN'T.... I am tired of cramping when on the pill and bleeding when I follow the directions. HELP???"

For Birth Control "I got on birth control to prevent pregnancy while I’m working to become established in my career. I REGRET TAKING SPRINTEC!! I started taking this birth control on August 12, 2018, then all of a sudden, I started bleeding as if I was having a period on August 18, 2018, and here it is, I am STILL BLEEDING HEAVILY, 16 days later! I have bad clots as well. I went to the ER, they did a regular ultrasound, intravaginal ultrasound, and a pelvic exam (Pap smear), and they found absolutely nothing! No cysts, no fibroids, etc. I thought maybe I had PCOS or fibroids, but they said my uterus is perfectly fine. I stopped taking this birth control, and I finally got my life back! If I could rate this pill “0,” I would. Now I’m not saying it may not work for you, but I’m posting my review just in case someone else may be experiencing any of these symptoms."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Background info: I am not sexually active, and I was hoping that Sprintec would help control an unruly menstrual cycle. I am on my third pack month of Sprintec. Cannot. Stop. Bleeding. I have been spotting daily and occasionally bleeding for the last month... will be seeing a doctor soon!!!"

For Birth Control "I was using this medication because of extreme bleeding reasons, and my doctor felt it may help. While it did help the bleeding, it had horrible side effects. I was constantly hot and could never get comfortable, hungry all the time, very low sex drive, suicidal thoughts, horrible nightmares, depression, and emotionally unstable... To name a few! I took the medication for 4 months and finally convinced my doctor that I needed something else. Within one week off of that medication, I felt 50% better, and by two weeks, I was 100% better. I have no idea who has had success with this medication because two other women that I spoke with felt the same as me. If you are taking this to 'fix' another problem, please consider the side effects!"

For Birth Control "Finishing up my second pack in the next couple of days... I take it at 9 a.m. every day. I was pleasantly surprised to not have any major side effects after reading these reviews. I have experienced absolutely zero change in complexion, weight, mood, appetite, no irregular bleeding, etc. My period did not get any lighter or heavier - I was kind of hoping it would become lighter. The pill works perfectly - my period comes on the 5th day of the sugar pills, which is nice because they used to be very irregular and spaced out. My only complaint is there has been a definite decrease in my sex drive - so I'm unsure if I want to continue taking it. Everyone's body reacts differently to medications so don't let the reviews scare you."

For Birth Control "Started Sprintec about 4 months ago. During the first pack, I had almost daily breakthrough bleeding, but it disappeared after that. However, last week, I took my pill only 2 hours late, and I started spotting again as well as getting bad headaches, so definitely try to take it at the same time no matter what. Some weight gain, really bad mood swings during the first few months. Haven't gotten pregnant, so it's definitely an effective pill."

For Acne "I went on my first pack this month and am taking my third week right now and just experienced some major breakthrough bleeding (which I guess is normal, so we'll see how it keeps going), but as far as my acne, I used to have insane cysts on my cheeks and chin. Within one week, I had no cysts but just minor small pimples, which I'm totally fine with. So I'm on my third week, and I don't get the painful cysts anymore. I just had one or two small ones on my chin, but that's it! I would recommend it for acne, but the breakthrough bleeding scared me."

For Birth Control "I have been on Tri-Lo-Sprintec for a little over 6 months now. After trying the progestin-only pill, which caused side effects such as anxiety, depression, nausea, and headache, I then was switched to Sprintec, which caused abnormal bleeding for nearly three months. I love Tri-Lo-Sprintec! It took a while for my body to adjust. I had some weight gain. No other major side effects. It tremendously helps with irregular, heavy, painful periods and all other PMS symptoms. My mood is also much more stabilized on it. Everyone is different. Do not let the reviews from others scare you from trying this one. You'll eventually find one that works for you! This one just happened to be the one for me."

For Birth Control "OMG, I am so glad I found these reviews. A light bulb went off, and now I know what is causing my daughter to have horrible anxiety, depression, zero appetite, panic attacks, fatigue, and zero motivation to do anything but sleep. My daughter is 19 years old and attends college. Four months ago, we decided she should try to get on a BC pill that will help with her heavy periods and terrible cramps. The first month of taking the BC, she was on Lo Loestrin, commonly known as LO LO. She had some breakthrough bleeding as a side effect, nothing major. The second month, when she received her next round, she was given Mili brand BC without any notice of the switch. I can't tell you enough how horrible these last few months have been. My daughter deals with anxiety and depression and has been treated for it with medication and had it controlled. The last few months since taking Mili, her anxiety has spun out of control along with her confidence. She feels nauseous every time she eats. DON'T TAKE!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have been on these Sprintec pills since April. I have fibroids, and I have now been bleeding since June 14, 2019, and the doctors are doing nothing about it. Doing research on birth control, I have found they can make the tumors grow faster. Mine have, and I have been bleeding for too long and am still bleeding as I type. I need help. I am already struggling financially, and spending money on something that's not helping is very depressing."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Insurance wouldn't cover the usual, so I was given this one. Well, only one week, and I feel crazed. Heart rate off, breathing labored, sweats, fatigued but can't sleep, super restless. And on day 7, I said - it's this pill. Mind you, also bleeding on it. Never have I ever had side effects from birth control, but this one makes me just feel off. Looked up anxiety and boom, all my symptoms. This pill made me super anxious. I am done. No more for me."

For Endometriosis "I have endometriosis, and I've struggled for years to find a birth control pill that would help with the pain and irregular/heavy bleeding. I even tried the shot, which was disastrous. Tri-Sprintec, while it doesn't completely take away my symptoms, is the best that I've found for me. So, until they find a better pill, this is my choice for oral contraceptives."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I took this BC because I had constant bleeding for over a month. It stopped my period for about two weeks, however, I started bleeding heavier than before and had cramps so severe it felt like I was having labor pains every minute for a couple of hours. I had to go to the emergency room, and while there, I had a clot the size of a golf ball. The doctor said it was the birth control and to see an OB-GYN and get on another form of BC. I will not be taking this anymore and would not recommend!"

For Birth Control "For the love of God, do not take this medicine. MOOD SWINGS ARE NONSTOP. My poor boyfriend tried to tell me they started since I got on this pill. I didn't believe him until I read reviews and realized everyone who takes this has the same problem. I started this on the first Sunday, which just happened to be the first day of my period. I've been on my period every week since I started taking this, and I took the first sugar pill 3 days ago, and now the bleeding is severe. My acne is awful, and my boobs doubled in size from swelling. They don't even want to stay inside my bra. Do not take this. Please."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "This is supposed to be my second month on Estarylla, after not taking birth control for over 8 years. I’ve never experienced mood swings (although I’m naturally moody) on any birth control until now. Estarylla has made me so depressed, I constantly had headaches (and I very rarely get headaches), and the bleeding this month was insane. I was passing blood clots the size of my fist and went to the ER because I was so worried. They said everything was fine, and I wasn’t prescribed anything to stop or slow the bleeding... but I know that this isn’t normal. Gonna find a new birth control because Estarylla is not the answer for me. I started taking it because I was having bleeding between periods for a few months, and I wanted to be more regular. This did regulate my cycle, but I’d rather be irregular than have the massive amount of bleeding that I did on my cycle."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "The pharmacy said my old BC was no longer covered and gave me this, saying the ingredients were the same when I asked. Obviously, there's varying degrees. I bled for over two weeks. The last week, I questioned whether I had a ruptured cyst or miscarriage. The cramps were so horrendous I threw up. HORRIBLE!!!!"

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for about one year, and my one complaint is I have no sex drive at all, mild cramping, and my periods are shorter, although heavy bleeding. After reading all these reviews, I guess I'm lucky, never had depression or any breakouts. I was tired a lot, and after changing to taking my pill at bedtime versus the morning, it really made a difference."

For Birth Control "I took Sprintec for 3 years, it was my first birth control. When I first got on it, I had cramping for about a week, and then it was fine. My periods came like clockwork every month! I gained no weight, and it helped stop my breakouts. Overall, I have no complaints about this pill, until recently... Randomly, I started bleeding. I had a period for about a month, give or take a few days when it would stop. Because of that, I have now switched pills because I just need higher estrogen. This pill is great, and I would recommend it to anyone!"

For Endometriosis "I've been taking Sprintec for 8 months. I take it continuously, skipping the placebo pills. It has helped my endometriosis, but the breakthrough bleeding is non-stop. It's awful. I'm swapping to another pill to see if I can get the bleeding to lessen. I'm sad it didn't work to prevent periods because it didn't cause any nausea or weight gain. Other pills I've tried in the past caused both! Fingers crossed for the next one..."

For Acne "I've only been on this for two weeks, and my acne is a million times worse. I'm so embarrassed to go in public because it's never been this bad before. Is it normal for it to make it worse before better? I also have not stopped bleeding since I had my period. What is going on?"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "My period went from March 11 to March 15. Started bleeding again on March 19. It's March 30, and I'm still bleeding. It's not as heavy as my normal period, but it's enough for it to be a nuisance now. I started taking it mid-January and loved it. Now I hate it."

"The only reason I am prescribed them is to stop my period for several months (I skip the inactive pills and start a new pack). The first month was okay, but into week 3 of my second month, I started having heavy 'spotting,' enough to need a tampon. Two weeks later, I called my Dr. to inform them that I had been bleeding for two weeks straight and ask what was going on. They insist that my body is just getting used to the hormones and to keep taking them. It has now been over a month, I'm almost done with my third pack, and the bleeding/spotting every day is STILL an issue. On the rare moments when it's light enough for sex, forget about it. I have no desire and dry as the desert. I'm also extremely tired and have had random breakouts."

For Birth Control "When I first started Sprintec, I bled for three weeks straight. My periods got ridiculously heavier (every day was a heavy day, and they lasted a week). I also got sick on the first day of my period like clockwork, essentially being confined to the bathroom on that day. Additionally, I started to have anxiety attacks about three times a week and had extreme depression with suicidal thoughts. I started losing it over nothing. I pushed my fiancé away because I found him repelling and called off our wedding. Within about a week of throwing away these pills, I was finally back to 'normal' and had to pick up the pieces left in my wake. This drug ruined my life!"

For Birth Control "This pill has the worst side effect ever! Gave me a lot of mouth sores that are very painful, it reached the point where I can’t eat, and my face got swollen. I am a regular 28-day cycle, and my period lasts only for 3 days, the max is 5, but with this pill I’m bleeding more than 10 days, and it looks like fresh blood. The depression is severe too, having a lot of crying spells. I stopped taking it just before the week of placebo because the mouth sores are worsening and the depression too. I know some pills work for different types of bodies, so I guess this pill is not for me. No good benefits and all bad side effects."
