For Birth Control "I'm on my second week of taking Mili. I started taking the pill the first Monday after my period, as directed by my doctor. So far, mood is fine, no abnormal bleeding, no headaches or nausea. I am experiencing breast tenderness. I used to experience anxiety, but after taking the pill, the anxiety is less. I have mild acne, but it is too early in the month to see if it's getting better. It all depends on the person, so I guess you will have to experience Mili for yourself. These reviews were helpful for me because everyone's experiences were different, and so was mine."

For Birth Control "So I switched from Sprintec to Tri-Lo-Estraylla, and I kind of regret it. So I haven’t experienced any really bad side effects, my skin is the clearest it has ever been, BUT I have been bleeding for weeks now. It started when I took the first pill in the third row, and now I’m just so confused on what to do. I just want the bleeding to stop. I’m really scared to start a new pack. Considering going back to Sprintec."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Before Mononessa, I tried four different birth controls (can't remember the names), but all of them gave me bleeding constantly, it was horrible. Finally, I tried Mononessa. It's helped so much, my periods are much lighter, no more acne, and I didn't experience any weight gain like the other reviews I have read. Also, it is a lot cheaper. This pill is the one I've been needing."

For Birth Control "I had a negative experience with this pill. I took it for a year, and while it effectively served the purpose of preventing pregnancy, that's the only positive thing I have to say about it. I experienced side effects of depression and suicidal thoughts, anxiety and a panic attack, frequent breakthrough bleeding, breast tenderness, and weight gain of 10 pounds. I am not prone to weight gain and haven't had this issue or emotional issues with the other 2 birth control pills I've taken. I would advise extreme caution in proceeding with taking this pill. I should have read the reviews before I took it."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Sprintec for about a year now. The only issue I've had is that I've had breakthrough bleeding twice now. I just let myself have a period the month that happens, and it goes back to normal. I'm good with 2 periods a year, but none would be better."

For Birth Control "This pill, in my opinion, is the worst form of birth control to take. I took it for 2 months. The first month was fine; the second was horrible. Been on my period for 3 weeks with very heavy bleeding and HUGE blood clots. Waking up in the middle of the night 2 or 3 times to change, along with the worst cramps ever. Felt depressed, mood swings, anxiety, rapid heartbeat, and felt out of breath. I have also been feeling as if I have vertigo; thought it was just me, but saw others had this problem as well. I do not recommend this birth control."

For Birth Control "I have very bad hormonal acne and have been on Spironolactone for that issue. When I started this birth control, everything seemed fine, but when I started the 2nd pack, everything went downhill. I broke out very badly every single day and night. I bled every time my boyfriend and I became intimate. I got very, very depressed. Luckily, my boyfriend is understanding. He couldn't believe how different I was. I couldn't take it anymore and quit halfway through the 3rd pack. It was good at preventing pregnancy."

For Birth Control "I have been on Sprintec for 20 days now and am still bleeding really badly. Super moody, depressed, no sex drive, nausea, weight loss, extremely tired, dizzy. Hoping that my period ends soon, or I will be switching."

For Birth Control "I would not recommend this birth control to anyone. I just finished my second pack and ended up in the emergency room after bleeding for 8 days straight with the heaviest period of my life. I am used to heavy periods because I have endometriosis, but this was the worst, along with very painful cramps. I ended up with a huge cyst on my left ovary. Other side effects I have had are terrible anxiety and depression. The first month, I was so sick to my stomach and could hardly eat. My breasts have been swollen and so sore the last two months, worse than both my pregnancies. The worst symptom is I have been so irritable and hateful, which is not me at all. I just want to feel like myself again!"

For Birth Control "I was prescribed Estarylla, and it was my first experience with birth control! The first two months were fine. I had a short and lighter period the first month, BUT experienced insane emotional distress. I was yelling at my boyfriend, crying over just about anything (I even cried giving a class presentation and I’m not emotional like that AT ALL). I assumed it was just my body adjusting as those extreme mood swings subsided. At the end of the second month, I got my period early and decided to finish the pack. I’ve now been bleeding for almost 2 weeks, and it is giving me extreme anxiety. I’m constantly paranoid I’m going to get blood clots and that this bleeding is irregular. It goes between what I believe to be spotting to full on needing a tampon. After reading these reviews, I have now decided to stop taking this birth control. I gave it two points because I do believe it contributed to clearing up my skin. Please beware!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was a little excited to say the least but nervous since I haven’t been on any medications since my tubal ligation 6 years prior. Within the first few weeks, I was already bleeding. I bled for 9 weeks straight. It was miserable, and then if to make things worse, I wanted to take out everyone around me for about 5 weeks. I had extreme anger issues, depression, my skin was breaking out. I talked to my doctor many times and was told to give it a little time to see how I adjusted. After 6 months, I decided I couldn’t take it anymore. I would have times that were okay, but I often felt like rubbish on this pill. The last straw was when I started a new packet of pills. I was fine the first week, started bleeding mid-2nd week, and by the third week, I was passing large blood clots for days, and then I got my period the 4th week. This pill isn’t for me, and now I’m starting something new. Hoping for better results!!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started taking Sprintec the 1st day of my period and stopped the 5th day once I realized I was still bleeding heavily! Today is day 8, and I’m still on my period. Worst birth control ever! Anyone know what I should do?"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I’ve been on Sprintec ever since I was 16. I’m 20 now. The whole purpose of birth control was to help with my horrible cramps, it’s helped but causes way too much breakthrough bleeding. I’m on my period a week early, and this just keeps happening! I’m at the point where I’m just going to stop it altogether."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this birth control for a few months now to try and alleviate my heavy period and cramping, and this only made it worse. When I was on the blue pills, I was spotting/bleeding every single day. On the white placebo pills, I bled through a super tampon within three hours. The worst cramps of my life. I can’t wait to switch or get off of this, it’s been such a pain!"

For Acne "The only good thing about this drug is that it cleared up my acne around my cycle time. The bad thing is I cramp like my cycle's first day for two weeks. Period was a week late, and then stayed on for a week and a half, and I spot/bleed constantly. If the spotting seems to stop, and I go to have sex, here comes the period back on. And the spotting comes back. It messed up my body so bad. I don’t think the irregular bleeding is worth keeping a few pimples away. And not to mention that you will be nauseated and will have a queasy stomach all the time. It gets worse after you eat. Every single time."

For Birth Control "It's been a month on the pills, and I have noticed spotting on the second and the beginning of the third placebo pills. I was very drowsy and drained, and my period was a little heavy, and the cramps weren't so bad, but I noticed during the spotting sometimes my blood was brown, and when my period actually started, it was brown. The pills seem okay, but if I have the same problem this month, I would try to change...."

For Birth Control "I had tried so many birth controls when I was a teenager, and they would make me bleed nonstop. If I was on the pill, I threw up like I was pregnant. My body couldn't handle it. I am now 23, and I'm on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, and I absolutely love it. I haven't had a problem whatsoever! My periods are right on time, VERY light bleeding (I used to have a heavy period), no cramping, just a wonderful experience. I recommend this medication to anyone looking for birth control. I am about to get married, and after I finish college we are going to try for a baby, so I hope it does for me just like it did for one of these ladies, she got pregnant right after she came off. I would recommend it to anyone. If you're having problems, try this birth control."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I just finished my three packs. Horrible to say the least, but does its job of avoiding pregnancy. If I don't eat before taking the pill, I'm nauseous and vomiting for the next three days. The first month, my period was on time and regular. The second month, I had two periods and would bleed after sex. And this third month has been pretty much continuous bleeding to the point I don't have sex with my boyfriend at all. My periods used to be pretty light and last 4-5 days. Now they're extremely light to the point I hardly have to use a panty liner, and I mostly bleed when I use the bathroom, but it's all day, every day. I'm also moody, cranky, and tired all the time. I'm so done with this birth control and am changing. Do not recommend to anyone."

For Birth Control "I began taking this pill in May, after having my second child. The nurse at the clinic told me to wait at least three months, as the symptoms would subside. They didn't. I have experienced irregular bleeding, heavier than normal bleeding, cramping, my skin looks worse than it ever has, the bloating is terrible - I have gained 15 pounds since starting this pill, I've had more headaches, severe fatigue, and have been just downright moody. It has done the job of preventing pregnancy, but then again it has given me the sex drive of an elderly woman. Would not recommend."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Stay away from this pill. I NEVER have side effects from any birth control I've taken in the past. I was switched to Estarylla and took it for maybe 2-3 months, and I have been bleeding for a week and a half now, who knows how long it'll last."

For Acne "I started back in October after suffering about 6 months with acne that just kept on getting worse. I had pus-filled pimples and small cysts. I didn't see major results until about 2 months in, and even then I was still getting one or two cysts. On my third month, I wasn't getting cysts and would only get small pimples. I suggest if you start the pill and don't see results immediately to just stick with it for at least 3 months. After my pimples went away, I got red hyperpigmentation (which a lot of people have been blaming on the pill; it's not, it's from the old pimples), so now I put a little bit of lemon on those parts to lighten them, and it's been working. As for my period, it lasts for 4 days now instead of 7, but I still bleed a lot."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Before this, I had been using the Depo shot and then Yaz for a year and had constant bleeding and spotting on both. Once I started taking Mononessa, my bleeding stopped in two days. It's been two weeks since starting the pack, and all is still good. I have noticed a tiny increase in pimples, and my breasts have become slightly bigger and tender, but not painful. I have high hopes for this pill."

For Birth Control "I haven’t been on this medication for a long time, but so far it’s been fairly okay! I made a pro and con list of symptoms. Pros: • no babies • larger but not painful breasts • improved overall mood. (I was always very irritable and snappy, but this mellowed me out) • lost a little weight. (Could be from lack of appetite) Cons: • dull headache for a few days in a row after the 2nd pill • acne slightly became worse (should clear up) • decreasing appetite extremely (not exactly a con for me, but for some maybe) • I got a mild yeast infection that was mixed with a small, small amount of breakthrough bleeding. I’ll come back once I’ve been on it longer, but overall I like it."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have been taking Sprintec since May 2016. I was doing great on the blue pill, but when it came to taking the white pill for 7 days, I would bleed for weeks straight at a time. So, playing doctor, I just started taking the blue pill and would skip over taking the white pill, and I would spot every now and then. When I did do that, I would have severe cramps (never had cramps before in my life) and decided to finish the pack as suggested (blue/white pills). Now it is August, and for three weeks I have been bleeding non-stop. I have not taken any of my blue pills since Sunday, July 31st, to see if the bleeding would stop, and sure enough, it HASN'T.... I am tired of cramping when on the pill and bleeding when I follow the directions. HELP???"

For Birth Control "I decided to stop taking Loryna, another birth control, in April and started breaking out like crazy. My once clear skin suffered from 8 cystic acne pimples at a time. I then decided to get back on birth control, only this time I used Sprintec because Loryna caused my uterine lining to thin and caused spot bleeding. I just started my second pack of Sprintec, and my skin is back to being flawless and is no longer oily. I now only have 1 pimple. Keep in mind that during the first month or so you will still have acne, and it may get worse before it gets better. My acne did get a little worse at first."
