For Birth Control "I switched to Tri-Sprintec because I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, and it was getting too expensive. I was terrified after reading reviews, so I thought I needed to post mine, saying I noticed no change. I've always had blemishes, so I don't blame Tri-Sprintec for that. It's not any worse. No bleeding, period the same time and length and flow as before. No moodiness or cramps. My experience (two months so far) is that I feel like I'm still on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, my side effects didn't change at all, but I'm saving so much money!"

For Birth Control "Well, I'm an 18-year-old teen just trying to be safe and smart, but continue a normal life with little side effects, and this pill definitely did that for my twin sister and me. We love it. It's small and easy to swallow. No mood swings, no cramps, no sleepiness, or confusing abnormal bleeding that worries you for days. It's wonderful. We both recommend this to whoever is looking for a reliable contraceptive pill."

For Birth Control "So I've been on it practically a month, I have 5 pills left. First week, I was super emotional, so I decided to take it at night, and that worked a lot better for me. I stopped getting random mood swings. My skin is a lot clearer now. Downside is I just had my first period on it, and I've been bleeding for a week and a half. It was light at first, and then it got really heavy. I'm on my 10th day on my period, and it's like a massacre, it won't stop. I'm hoping it ends soon, and my next period isn't as heavy, but if it continues, I will probably switch. I've also had really bad cramps during this whole ordeal."

For Endometriosis "I have been taking this medication for 4 months now and have been bleeding heavily for 4 months straight with severe cramping. I have been having severe mood swings and increased depression. This was prescribed to help slow down the process of my endometriosis returning, and my bleeding has been heavier than before my surgery."

For Birth Control "Unlike a lot of the reviews on here, I had a positive experience with Estarylla. I have been on two different pills before my pharmacy switched me to Estarylla. Some background on my experience with birth control pills, the first pill I was on was terrible. I gained 10 lbs in 2.5 months, had breakthrough bleeding all the time even if I was taking my pill at the same time every day, and felt like a different person with zero emotion. The second pill I was on (Sprintec) was better but still not great. Looking back, my major side effects on Sprintec were irritability/moody, fatigue, and some breakthrough bleeding. My pharmacy switched my prescription from Sprintec to Estarylla. To my surprise, this is my favorite of the three pills. My PMS moodiness/irritability was gone, I have experienced no breakthrough bleeding even if I take a pill late, and I feel great. Don’t be afraid of negative reviews when trying birth control pills because you’ll never know how your body will respond until you take it."

For Birth Control "I'm on my third week of Sprintec 28 and haven't had a single negative side effect. I started using it on the first day of my period, which also happened to be a Sunday (lucky me). I love it! As long as there are no side effects and nothing changes, then I'm staying on this pill forever. The only thing I noticed is that there was still light bleeding even after my period ended, but nothing big. No headaches, nausea, vomiting, mood swings, cramps, stomach pain, breast tenderness/pain, or anything! It depends on the person, you can't just judge it based on the reviews because I was scared to try it. I read so many horrible reviews, but I gave it a shot, and I am pain-free."

For Birth Control "Honestly, Estarylla has been the best birth control I have ever used. I have tried six others! I have never had irregular bleeding, have no cramps, and very light bleeding! I am just wondering how many people have gotten pregnant on this pill while taking it correctly!"

For Birth Control "I have never been on birth control before, so this is my first time. I’ve been on Sprintec for about 2 months now, got it prescribed. My partner and I have a lot of unprotected sex, so we decided to get on birth control. The only side effects that I have experienced so far are frequent nausea and spotting. I’ve also noticed how clear my skin got. I can’t really say much about my sex drive because I have been so busy with school stuff and work, so has my boyfriend. Other than that, everything seems to be okay for now. My only issue is that I have skipped my period, and now I am experiencing breakthrough bleeding along with mild cramps. I don’t know if this is a good thing or not, but the bleeding only lasts for a couple of hours, then it stops. However, it’s been about 5 days now! My doctor said it would improve as I keep taking the pill, so I’ll be updating you guys on how it’s going so far."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Sprintec, this is the worst birth control ever. At first, I really liked it because this was my first experience with birth control. Until month two hit. Oh boy, I was bleeding for a month straight. Horrible. I wasn't even on my placebo week, and I bled everywhere with huge blood clots. Not to mention, when I wasn’t bleeding, I was still experiencing the worst cramps ever. After 8 hours of taking it, I would be so unbelievably nauseous. Don’t get me wrong, it worked for one of my friends, but not for me."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "UPDATE: My Dr. called me back on 12/17/19 and told me to continue taking the pill because the bleeding is normal and will eventually stop. She also recommended taking 1 ibuprofen a day to help with the bleeding. It didn't immediately stop it, but I did notice that each day I had less and less bleeding. It is now Dec. 30th, and I have not bled since Dec. 24th, thank goodness. So I will continue this pill. Other than the bleeding, I didn't experience any adverse reactions. I freaked out because I didn't know to expect bleeding. I am supposed to have my menstrual cycle this week (yes, it sucks that I finally got relief from bleeding, just to expect my period in a couple of days lol). So we'll see how painful my period is this time around, because that's the reason why I am taking this pill... Take care of yourselves, ladiesā£"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I'm 38 years old, and I've never taken birth control before, but I started having three weeks of bleeding in a month with all the crazy hormone freak-outs that come with a period for the same amount of time, and I finally gave in to my gyn/ob's suggestion to try birth control. I feel totally normal again, except my sex drive has gone through the roof, which I honestly have no problem with at all. Consider it a positive. And I'm not craving as many sweets. Again, a positive. On the whole, I'm very pleased."

For Birth Control "I was originally on a different pill, but my insurance wouldn’t cover the name brand, so I was switched to Mono-Linyah. The first month I took this, I suffered from painful cramps and mood swings. I attributed these to switching birth control, and after the first month, they went away. I continued using this pill for a year with little side effects and a lighter, shorter period, yay! But after a year, all the benefits stopped. My acne has exploded! My hair is thinning and falling out. I bleed randomly between periods, and during my regular period, I experience horrible cramps and really heavy bleeding. I started experiencing abnormal levels of anxiety and panic attacks, and I slipped into a really dark depressive state for 2-3 months. The only reason I’m still taking this pill is because it does its job in the sense that it prevents pregnancy. I will be seeing a doctor soon to switch."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was on this for 2 years, stopped it because I had been broken up with (didn't want babies). I no longer had a need for it. After stopping this, I ended up bleeding for 2 weeks at a time. Once a month, I had 1 week where I wasn't on my period, and I would soak an overnight pad in less than an hour. I had extreme cramps, skipped uni because I would have to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes to change my tampon and pad. I had fainting spells, sleeping in school because I couldn't stay awake. I came home from school at 4, slept until the next morning every day (due to the amount of blood loss). This birth control permanently ruined my natural mental cycle. I NEVER had this problem. I could not include the rest of my experience because only 1000 characters are allowed. I ended up in the hospital for 4 days, 2 blood transfusions, and heart failure. There was also cystic hormonal acne, suicidal thoughts, and depression. I can't stop it now, or else I would end up risking my life again because it permanently messed up my reproductive organs."

For Birth Control "In April of 2019, I started Norethindrone. I experienced bleeding almost every two weeks, so I asked my doctor what I should do. She changed me to Estarylla in September. Within two months, my periods were regular again. Like clockwork, my period starts on the Wednesday of my “period week” and usually lasts until Sunday or Monday. Also, I used to get migraines very often, and now I rarely get them. I do have to say that I take my pills in the morning at 7:30 without eating, and I do experience slight nausea around 2-3 occasionally. Other than that, I’ve had a positive response to this medicine."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "This was the worst birth control I have ever taken. I was previously on MonoNessa, which I loved, but then was switched to this generic. I never had an issue with abnormal bleeding (been on MonoNessa about 6 years) and am on an SSRI, so my mood is pretty stabilized. However, about 5 months into this generic, I had the worst month of my life. I bled clots of blood for a month straight and had to go to the doctor. Additionally, I felt so depressed all the time and had suicidal thoughts almost daily, even when taking my SSRI. I recently switched to a new birth control and feel 100X better. This birth control was awful. Would not recommend for anyone."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I’ve been on this Sprintec birth control since May. Completely horrible. Breakthrough bleeding all the time, and recently my doctor told me to skip my placebo (which I’ve done once before and bled for 6 weeks because of it). Well, I spotted the first week I skipped, but now I’ve been on my period for 12 days. Wondering when it will stop. I’m done taking this medication."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Everything seemed fine in the first few weeks of taking the pill, and then right before starting my second pack, I started bleeding heavily and having the most awful cramps. It was like I was 13 years old all over again (keep in mind, I’m 25). So now I’m almost finished with my second pack, and I’ve been bleeding heavily for like 2 1/2 weeks now. This birth control sucks. I do not recommend. I’m switching to another one as soon as I can."

For Birth Control "I started taking this when I was 15 for irregular periods and horrible cramps. I was on it for about a year and loved it but stopped taking it. I noticed over time (about a year and a half) that my periods had been getting worse and worse. I'm 18 now and decided to go back on it. I'm 3 months in, and it's working perfectly! However, the first month I had a lot of breakthrough bleeding, and noticed I was more irritable. But I am fine now and love this pill! Side note: be careful if you get sick and have to take antibiotics. I would recommend using backup birth control methods with the pill until you are done taking the antibiotics because the antibiotics reduce the effectiveness of the pill. Not many people know this."

For Birth Control "This is the first birth control pill I've ever been on, and I have no major complaints. I'm a healthy height/weight and exercise regularly. I just finished my third pack. During the first month, I had breakthrough bleeding (as expected with most pills) off and on, but that was it. My breasts are a little more tender, but it's nothing bothersome. The pill definitely hasn't bothered my sex drive either. I'm glad I stuck it out the first month because this pill has been great for me so far!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "My doctor switched to Tri-Lo-Sprintec because while the first two pills I tried for hormonal acne worked for that, I was getting some light spotting. Started this, and I literally bled constantly for a month. Like, HORRIBLE bleeding. I didn’t bleed like this after I had my son! I stuck it out and tried a second month, and I spotted (pretty heavily) the entire second month. My period was the worst I have ever had in my 41 years of life. I would bleed through super plus tampons in 30 minutes and pass huge blood clots, massive clots the size of mandarin oranges at a minimum. My doctor said try one more month, so that’s where I’m at now. My period started right back up on day 3 of the pack, and I’m bleeding like it’s my period again even though I’m at the end of my first week of the pack. I’m still passing blood clots, and I’m anemic as anything. Tri-Lo sucks, and I will never take it again. Who cares if my skin is great if I’m bleeding to the point of no blood left in my body and I’ve put on 5 pounds."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "My insurance company just switched me from Ortho Tri-Cyclen to Tri-Previfem. This is my second month on it. My period usually lasted for 3 days also. This time it's been 5 days. And in the past 2 days, I've had a lot of bleeding. I've gone through over 10 pads already today. I will stop taking it and try to go back to Ortho Tri-Cyclen. I'd been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for many years and never had any side effect."
