For Birth Control "I was taking Sprintec for years, but 4 months ago I got switched to Mili. Boy oh boy. The first few months were bad, but this last month... oh my gosh. I’ve been bleeding for 15 days (regular periods usually last for 3-4 days). I’ve had 6 anxiety attacks within the past week, hot flashes, cold sweats, no appetite, lack of motivation. Literally, I feel awful. I’m stopping it this month. I’m not even being dramatic when I tell you this pill is a nightmare. It may work for some, but this pill is literally so bad for me."

For Acne "I was forced to switch over to Tri-Sprintec because they discontinued Tri-Nessa Lo. I have never had worse acne in my entire life. If I had read these reviews previously, I would not have taken it. The pharmacy said it was 'pretty much the same.' It is not, I should have been put on the Tri-LO-Sprintec. There are two different strengths of the Tri-pills, the low and the higher one. They changed me to the higher one. This medication has caused my depression and anxiety to spike in extremes. I have never experienced cystic acne until now. Full coverage makeup cannot hide the embarrassment I've been feeling in public for months. I've taken it for 3 months, and it's been 3 days since I officially stopped."

For Birth Control "I was a huge fan of Trinessa. I was on it for a year and a half with no issues and no side effects. I stopped taking it for about 6 months because I was no longer in a relationship and just wanted to see if anything changed (weight, skin, mood) if I got off the pill. I decided to start taking it again just to keep my periods more regular and because I forgot how terrible my cramps are without birth control. I went to my pharmacy and got a refill and noticed they discontinued Trinessa and was given this Tri-Sprintec stuff instead. I’m almost at the end of my second week taking it, and it is terrible, nothing like Trinessa. I’ve had weird stabbing pains in my left breast, I’m tired 24/7, my anxiety has been awful, I’ve had no appetite, and my stomach has constantly been upset, and I’m so depressed that I barely want to get out of bed. If you were previously on Trinessa and liked it, do not get this. I’m going to have to try and find a better Trinessa equivalent now."

For Birth Control "Started my 3rd pack a week ago. It’s not perfect, but I’m fine with it so far. I was worried about the depression/anxiety/mood swings side effect because I’ve had depression before and still have anxiety. Luckily, my mood has not changed at all. I have experienced 3-4 days of spotting, it mostly happened within the 1st month. The worst thing is it made my boobs really sore. I think it lasted for at least half the time I was taking the first pack, and a few less days with the 2nd pack. So far, nothing for this 3rd month. I’m hoping my periods will get shorter, but that hasn't happened yet. My last period (2nd one I’ve had on the pill so far) seemed to be a little lighter, which was nice. I get bad back pain on my period for the first 4 days, and this time I only had back pain for 1 day! I also got the pill to help with my acne, but it's not helping. I’m gonna keep waiting to see if it helps, but I’m starting to lose hope. So there are pros and cons, but worth a try!"

For Birth Control "I started taking Sprintec in February of 2018. About a month into taking this, I started having severe anxiety. This led to panic attacks and having to go to therapy. I also have gained 30 pounds since starting Sprintec. My boobs have gotten so much bigger. I'm at a loss. I was prescribed this on NURX, and I'm ready to just ditch it to see if I can lose some of this weight. I can't seem to lose it no matter what I do."

For Birth Control "I LOVE Mili. I had such bad cystic acne before I started taking this pill. I had literally tried everything. Now my skin barely ever gets any breakouts, my skin is so clear besides my scars, and I never thought I’d see it this way! I have had no side effects from this, and I have been taking it for 2 months. This month my pharmacy changed me from Mili to Estarylla, and I had the WORST anxiety, panic attacks. I was on my tippy toes 24/7 about everything. I cried a lot, and I only took the pill for 2 weeks. I could not continue, I had to call my pharmacy and order another pack, and they made a note to NOT switch my birth controls again."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for about 3 years, I was always a Sun starter, but due to the pharm not having my meds in time, my doc had me start my new pack on a Tues. After starting on a Tues, I began to feel like I want to throw up all the time, and it will happen a week or 2 before my period. I was nervous all this time: anxiety, heart palpitations. I felt this feeling in my chest and stomach often that I can only describe as that feeling you get when something bad is about to happen, zero energy, low sex drive. I slept all the time, negative thoughts, depressed, lost weight, and had no appetite whatsoever. I noticed when I got on the white pills, I started to feel normal again. I will never, ever take those pills again. I thought I was going insane, I cried every day. I’d rather have a baby any day than to feel like that due to Sprintec. I was on Ortho Tri-Lo for years before taking that, and I can’t remember ever feeling like that."

For Acne "Oh my goodness. I am in tears reading these reviews, finally finding out what’s wrong with me. I stopped breastfeeding about 3 months ago, and my skin started to break out from the hormone change, as expected. I called my OB to get back on what I assumed would be my regular BC, Trinessa, but I got this Tri-Sprintec. My face has never been this bad in my entire life. Painful, cystic acne. I’ve gained weight. My mood swings were terrible. I had anxiety through the ROOF. Whatever you do, DO NOT GET ON THIS PILL."

For Birth Control "Mili was the first birth control I had ever tried at age 27. I tried it for 3 months but felt like my anxiety, which I can control without medication, was only getting worse. I was extremely emotional and couldn’t concentrate on daily tasks. I’m in grad school and work as a nurse full time. I felt like this medication was not helping my mental well-being. I felt depressed, anxious, and irritable all the time. I was considering anti-anxiety medications just to help with the side effects. Needless to say, I called my doctor to change my prescription."

For Birth Control "I started my first packet of Mono-Linyah and almost finished it. Week one and two were fine, just a little anxious. Not that bad, right? So I'm down to my final blue pills for week three, I start to experience some symptoms, like I felt like my throat would close or get tight. Then it would get filled with mucus, which would make me gag. The color in my face was getting extremely white and sickly-like. I also would randomly get burning hot, like I had a bad fever. Often very tired and weak. My symptoms are a lot like pregnancy symptoms, so if you also experienced this, most likely it is just the pill making you sick."

For Birth Control "I was on Sprintec for 3-4 years when all of a sudden the pharmacy would call to say my script is ready for pick up and name something I never heard of, so I ignored it. I went 2 months without birth control, then I started this new pill on a Sunday. I'm on month 3 of taking Mili. I cry for days, anxiety at its worst, I'm constantly bloated to the point that a 7-month pregnant coworker and I were comparing hardness of our bellies, always thirsty, and this acne on my chin is so damn bad I want to dig my skin off. All of these things I assumed were just regular woman things, and my chin I blamed on the mask, but I've been wearing a mask for 2 years and this is recent. This pill is the worst. I accidentally found this thread while trying to search to see why I couldn't get the Sprintec anymore. Never did I imagine that so many others have been experiencing the exact same things from this pill. It's the worst. I am rating a 3 because, well, it prevents pregnancy..."

For Birth Control "I'm on my second week of taking Mili. I started taking the pill the first Monday after my period, as directed by my doctor. So far, mood is fine, no abnormal bleeding, no headaches or nausea. I am experiencing breast tenderness. I used to experience anxiety, but after taking the pill, the anxiety is less. I have mild acne, but it is too early in the month to see if it's getting better. It all depends on the person, so I guess you will have to experience Mili for yourself. These reviews were helpful for me because everyone's experiences were different, and so was mine."

For Birth Control "Within the first couple of weeks of taking it, I started to notice a spike in my anxiety. I thought my body just needed a little more time to adjust. As I continued, I became much more irritable continuously, and my sex drive completely disappeared. My periods were all over the place. And suddenly all I wanted to do was stay home. Plus, I started to obsess and have meltdowns over things that completely didn’t matter. Once I stopped taking it, within a week my mood and everything was back to normal. I highly don’t recommend this medicine."

For Birth Control "Terrible. Didn’t help with cramps, I had heavier periods and zero sex drive. The worst is the anxiety and anger associated with it. My fiancé and I just split up over these pills due to my mood swings and upset. I wouldn’t take them ever again. Too many reviews say the same thing...the pills are the common denominator!"

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Tri-Lo-Sprintec for over a year now, and at first, it was fine. Here and there, I would get a little mad and emotional, but that subsided. But then, as time went on, I was so overly mean and irritable. Also, up until this month, I have had debilitating panic attacks and anxiety to the point I feel like I’m going insane, and yet there is nothing wrong. For Birth Control "I've been taking Mono-Linyah for 5 months now, and I am so disappointed and unhappy with it. I get frequent headaches, they last all day. Sometimes they last for 2-3 days at a time. They're almost unbearable. My periods have gotten even heavier than they were before I started taking this, and they last for about 6 or 7 days. I just got off my period 5 days ago, and I'm back on it again right now. I have had a period literally every other week since I started taking Mono-Linyah. Most people notice weight gain while taking most birth controls, but I've been losing weight. I was 120 lbs when I started it 5 months ago, and now I'm only 104 lbs. I feel like I'm in such an irritable mood all the time. I'm always so tired and have no energy, but I also can't sleep at night, and my anxiety has been terrible. I would not recommend this birth control to anyone. Hopefully, my doctor will change it when I see her next month. I really don't want to keep taking this rubbish."

For Birth Control "Been on this for about three months since they discontinued Trinessa and forced this pill on me, and let me tell you, this has easily been the worst three months of my life. I need birth control to keep me regular and keep my skin clear (which this pill is only okay at doing), but it is not worth the mental damage this pill is doing to me. I’m fine the first two weeks, but as soon as I start week three, I feel like I’m going crazy! I cry over everything and panic and become so anxious I need anti-anxiety meds, and I even have extreme dark thoughts. As soon as I finish this pill pack, I’m done for good because this is not worth it, it’s ruined all of my personal relationships and motivation for even succeeding in school. For Birth Control "I was taking Tri-Nessa Lo, and when I went back to the OBGYN for a checkup and refill, I was re-prescribed this 'generic' version (unknowingly). I started taking Tri-Lo-Marzia about 2 weeks ago. And... I. HATE. IT. I don't even ever write reviews about anything, but this felt justified. Drove my anxiety up a wall. Crying for no reason. Depressed. Irritable and mad about stupid things. Doubting everything in my life. I cannot wait to switch over to my old birth control. This one just did not work for me at all."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Sprintec for 9 months now and can't wait for my prescription to be up so I can switch. The first 2 months, I experienced extreme loss of appetite, depression, suicidal thoughts, panic, anxiety, and insomnia. The next 4 months, I leveled off. My periods were painless and light! 2 months ago, the bloating and weight gain began. I can't eat anything without feeling bloated/sick. I wake up in the middle of the night with menstrual cramps all throughout the month. I have put on 30 lbs in 2 months. I am an active person and work 40 hrs a week. I eat a raw vegan diet, and I practice yoga daily. This amount of weight gain doesn't add up. The one positive about Sprintec is it prevents pregnancy, but I hate this roller coaster ride."

For Birth Control "This was the best birth control option! I had debilitating periods before I started. On this pill, my cramps were a piece of cake; some cycles I didn't even get cramps! My breasts grew, skin looked great, no depression, anxiety, or mental health side effects. This is the only birth control that worked for me! Currently on Tri-Vylibra, and I hate it. I think I should be on the Tri-Vylibra Lo, but I'm on the bigger dose one (has 0.035 of ethinyl estradiol instead of the Lo that has 0.025 mg ethinyl estradiol), and I'm breaking out, TERRIBLE mood swings/depression, boobs didn't grow, and AWFUL nausea my first week or so. I want to go back to Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo!!!! I have no idea what I can use instead ;("

For Birth Control "I started this pill and immediately had horrible mood swings. I thought I was losing my mind, I am not a crier, and I cried almost every day for a week. I had horrible cramping, nausea, and weird sleeping patterns. Also, my anxiety increased, my breasts became severely sore, and I started to sweat a lot more. I'm switching to Aviane now, and hopefully it works better. The plus side to this pill, though, was my acne cleared up, and I didn't gain any weight."
