For Birth Control "I've been on the pill for five years now, only using Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, and I'd have to say I love it. When I first started taking it, I did feel nauseous the first two weeks, but after that, my body adjusted, and I was fine. I have bad eating habits and don't exercise regularly. I'm 5'7" and 210 lbs, and work in a busy restaurant where I'm always on my feet (to give a fair idea of my body/living style). I recently started getting headaches when I reached 21. There was a time during this year when my periods didn't start regularly (due to a big change and busy schedule), but that was because I would accidentally forget to take the last four pills in the pack. My period would start a day or two late, but once I set a sure schedule, it was regular."

For Birth Control "I was on this pill for 2 years. I originally got on for acne and just for general protection, but I had some negative effects. The first few months I had horrible nausea. I had to take it right before bed, and I vomited a few times. After a while, my body adjusted, and it was perfect for me, until I got pregnant. I took it the same time every night and still managed to get pregnant. After birth, I got back on, and it's made my skin a living nightmare. I switched to Ortho Cyclen with hopefully more luck."

For Birth Control "This was the first birth control I ever tried and let me tell you, my experience was horrible. I constantly felt like I was going to throw up, and at times I did. I also felt like crying about everything. I wasn't myself at all, so I changed birth control pills to Microgestin, and everything has been great. I have been on them for about a year now."

For Birth Control "I am 20 and have been using this birth control for a little over a year. It is my first birth control pill. Effective at preventing pregnancy, but that's the only plus. Overall, I think it's an okay pill, but I wouldn't say it's the best. It takes about three months to adjust to it, and taking it at night helps with the nausea and headaches you may experience. I have gained 15 pounds while on the pill, which is very disappointing because my diet is better now than it was before, and I've always been very active and attend the gym. The weight is hard for me to shed now, it's frustrating. My periods are normal for the most part, but sometimes they come a little later and carry over when I'm back on active pills."

For Birth Control "I was on this birth control for 2 years straight in my teens for acne and birth control. Cleared out the acne those two years, was pretty great, but a lingering side effect was nausea every morning. Got off this BC for 3 years due to financial reasons. Was prescribed this again in April 2018, and the diarrhea and nausea began almost immediately until I stopped using it in November 2018. From that last day, no diarrhea and no nausea. Good for BC, no scares, but the side effects were awful. Am now on Kyleena, and it has been great."
