For Birth Control "After trying several different birth control options (pill/IUD), this is by far the best one so far. I've been taking it for a little over 4 years, and it is very effective with minimal side effects-mostly physical symptoms like slight dizziness from time to time and slight discoloration on my face, which is easily covered with powder. Over the course of the last year or two, my periods went from your average 5 to 7-day period to a very nice 3-day, very light period."

For Birth Control "I've been on the Necon 1/35 for almost 2 months now. I am definitely experiencing breast tenderness and enlargement. The tenderness is so bad right now I feel squeezed while wearing a bra, so I don't wear one while I'm at home. I have also been experiencing mood swings and crying spells. Dizziness occasionally too. I'm calling my doctor's office tomorrow because bigger breasts aren't worth all this!"

For Birth Control "I have only been on Necon for a month and a half, but it has already started causing problems. I have a horrible time sleeping now, and I am eating a lot more than I used to. I haven’t weighed myself recently because I’m afraid to see how much weight I’ve gained in such a short amount of time. Also, on my placebo week in the first month, I had a very weird and scary experience that at the time I thought was a mini-stroke. I suddenly got really dizzy, and my vision was blurry, and I couldn’t move or speak for a minute. I have never had that happen to me before. It was absolutely terrifying. I’m going to be switching pills soon. The only good thing I can say about this is that it has helped my mood swings, and my periods are lighter and shorter so far."

For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "Just started week 2 of this bc. I can't really say if my issues are from this, I had the flu a week prior to starting and also during the first week. I'm 25 years old, 2 kids, and first time taking any kind of birth control. I self-diagnosed myself as having PCOS, and my gyn prescribed me Necon 1/35. So far, my symptoms, which could be from being sick or the birth control: dizziness, head gets foggy and vision slowed starting 20 minutes after taking the pill and lasting up to 6 hours afterward. Nausea, loss of appetite, food aversions, mood swings (also have been having some stress/life issues, along with being sick), breast tenderness, don't seem so bloated now, fatigue."
