For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started taking these pills 3 months ago, and so far it hasn't helped with my heavy periods at all. The doctors told me it might take 2-3 cycles for it to start working, but I am currently on my 3rd period since taking the pills, and this time my period is way heavier than my last two, and I have awful cramps (I rarely cramped before using this pill). I have anxiety all the time now, as I am terrified I might develop a blood clot. I'll give it one more month and then look into other pills, I guess. Probably going to write another review, so yeah. Also, I'm 18, and my periods have been heavy since I was around 15. Praying it works because I can barely move around/stand on my period, otherwise, I'll just bleed all over the place..."

For Birth Control "Did this make my period completely bearable and short? Yes. Did it also make me loathe myself, everyone around me, cause anxiety, depression, body dysmorphia, and paranoia? Also yes. It’s been 5 months, and I’m going off of it tomorrow."

For Birth Control "Horrible. Took it for 1 month and bled the whole month. Horrible cramping and headaches. Made me depressed and sent my anxiety into overload. Stopped taking after 1 month. Would not recommend this brand to anyone. I would rather go back to dealing with painful periods than ever take this again."

For Birth Control "I’ve had mixed experiences with Alyacen 1/35. One big positive is that my skin stayed completely clear—no acne at all, except for some minor chin breakouts during placebo week, and I did notice an increase in chin hairs around that time. My weight remained stable, and I even lost a little, which was a nice benefit. On the downside, I have fibroids, and I noticed they grew while I was on this pill. I also experienced increased anxiety, high blood pressure, and intense mood swings, which were difficult to manage. I’ve decided to switch to a different birth control to see if it’s a better fit for me. That said, if the new one doesn’t work out, I might consider returning to Alyacen since it had some clear advantages."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this birth control, Alyacen, for months now and, like many commenters, have had issues with weight gain and mood. I already suffer from depression/anxiety, but my depression has been so severe after starting this birth control that I hardly move most days. Also, it did not occur to me until reading through these comments that my sex drive is almost nonexistent lately."
