For Birth Control "I've been on Seasonique for about a year now. Overall, it's great, while the birth control is pretty pricey in my area (it's about 90 dollars a month where I live), but it's worth it. I've had no problems with this pill except the occasional spotting. It actually cleared my skin, while I do have an occasional spot. I don't get headaches, backaches, or many other side effects. I guess the pill is different for everyone, but for me, this works like a charm! It's great only having my period once every three months."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I went on this because I had a nonstop period for months and developed severe anemia. My bleeding stopped the next day! Then that day I developed the worst headache of my life, and ever since I have had constant headaches. I have developed cyst-like pimples on my neck and face. They're deep, huge, and painful. I didn't gain weight, but that's because I monitor my calories. I think if I had let myself eat the amount I wanted, then I would have gained weight since I've been more hungrier than normal. I'm also diagnosed with depression but can usually manage it, yet this pill made me have the worst depressive episodes of my life. I don't want to finish the pack, but they were so damn expensive. Do not recommend."

For Birth Control "I have been on Seasonique for almost 6 months now. I love it. At first, I spotted, cried for no reason, terrible headaches, was very moody, achy, had acne (which I have never had, and I'm almost 20), and was tired, but now it's great. Just take them on time every day and do not miss a pill or you will start spotting. I have no symptoms and do not have to eat with it anymore either."

For Endometriosis "I used this b.c. pill for a month and suffered from a lot of side effects. Being extremely emotional and crying for no reason. Heavy bloating and abdominal pain that I couldn't realize if that is a symptom of endo or what? Headaches, difficulty sleeping at night, shortness of breath. I stopped after a month and most of the symptoms are gone. Never going back on this pill again. Now I'm using Visanne just for 3 months as per my GP to see if endo is shrinking. Much better choice so far."

For Birth Control "Honestly, I hate to write these reviews because I feel like they can scare people; however, I have been on Seasonique for 2 months now and have had some weird side effects. I was on Yasmin for a year and had no side effects from the beginning. When I switched to Seasonique, I experienced some nausea, which was normal. Then I started breaking out really bad, which for me was never an issue before, and I'm 21 years old. The part that really concerns me is that I've had a heavy period for 3 weeks that started while going into the second month. My normal periods are light and 4 days. It has also been accompanied by severe headaches. On the upside, I did not gain weight, and I am not pregnant."

For Birth Control "I am on my 3rd pack, and I would rather have a period once a month than deal with everything else. The first pack was great, no side effects and no period. Once I got to the second pack, I have had horrible mood swings, and I just start crying for no reason. My lower back and my stomach cramp up, I get bad headaches, and I am tired all the time."

For Birth Control "I've been on the Teva pill for a week, and so far, I've been experiencing nausea, cramps, headaches, and general fatigue. I told myself I'd give it a month because it was intended to help me with my bad menstrual cycle, but I don't know if I'll be able to go on like this. I can barely function. I've been experiencing waves of depression too. If I continue to use it, I'll give an update, but it isn't looking so great right now."

For Birth Control "I had been through many forms of birth control. Then I tried Seasonique. The doctor warned me it could take 6-9 months to get regular, so I stuck it out through breakthrough bleeding every other week, and boy do I regret it. After one year, I finally became regular, but then I had many muscle spasms, mood swings, cramps, mild headaches, and a TOTAL LACK OF MY SEX DRIVE and no lubrication during sex. Even though I took my pill at exactly 9:15 every morning, one day (after over 20 months of being on it), I was two hours late and I had a two-week period when I was still on the active pills. I have chosen to switch to Loestrin 24. It's been a few months and so far I am back to my normal self."

For Birth Control "I like taking this pill because now I don’t have periods every month. I also am not moody all the time anymore! I do have some side effects like tenderness, headaches, and spotting also! But other than that, I get to be more happy instead of miserable like I used to be. My first packet of pills didn’t work the first time! I had to talk to my doctor about it because I bled a lot more than I should have. Also, my doctor had to give me a stronger dose of them! I started taking Seasonique, so far, it has been a great experience other than side effects. When I do have my period, I am still moody, I also feel a lot of pain! I know that at least I don’t have to have it every month anymore. I am so thankful my doctor helped me out!"

For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "I tried Seasonique for a month and 3 weeks because it was recommended by a relative, not blood related. It worked for her but I do not think it worked for me. My experience was nausea in the first two weeks, but nothing too bad. Several weeks in, even though I was eating less, I actually gained a few lbs, I believe it is water. I also experienced throbbing in my legs, tightness in my back, headaches, lower abdominal cramping (way more than usual), and sometimes chest pain, and an overall feeling of heaviness. I stopped taking it due to worrisome side effects being the throbbing and bloating just in case. I have never had a problem with water retention before. I have PCOS, so I am used to feeling unwell with some of those things in particular, but I think Seasonique heightened them. The benefits were less hair loss, less cravings, but not worth the bloat. I hope this medication works for others, I am going to try YAZ next due to it having a different chemical compound."

"I took this for less than a week, and I had a rash that came out on my chest. I didn't think anything of it. The next day, the rash covered all but my arms and legs, and I had a headache so bad many sounds just about killed me. I ended up in the ER. I had no idea when I first saw the rash that overlooking something so small could almost kill me. It doesn't matter what medicines you are taking, watch out for all the signs. You never know."

For Birth Control "My experience with this pill is 50/50... I love only having my period every 3 months, but I spotted for months when I started, have lots of headaches, my breasts are bigger, and I gained weight."

For Birth Control "I have been using this pill for almost a year. I have spent more time on my period than off. I also get very bad headaches. I have been bleeding for almost 2 months now. It's a pain. I'm definitely going to stop taking it. I wouldn't suggest this pill to anyone. I would rather plan for it every month."
