For Birth Control "It was a total roller coaster for me. I went on this birth control to try to diminish my painful heavy periods because doctors don’t want to operate on me. At first, I had six months of normal periods with pain as before. Then I had six months of increased bloating to the point where I had to buy a completely new wardrobe because none of my clothes fit me (this has not gone down). However, during this time, I did not get a period until randomly in month 13, I got the most horrendous period pain of my life, extreme nausea, but no actual bleeding, of course. I stopped it for a month, and the withdrawal period was so horrendous I had to take a week off work. I went back on it again because I was so terrified of the pain, but now I’m having cramps, but it’s the first week of the new pack. Positive points: I had no mood swings, but instead a low mood every day, and I haven’t got any acne."

For Birth Control "My doctor recommended switching my birth control method to SLYND because of serious migraines I was experiencing. I had previously been on NuvaRing for several years prior. I took a 6-month break after I stopped NuvaRing and switched to SLYND. I was very hesitant to try another pill (I had tried multiple combination pills prior to NuvaRing and had very bad side effects). Being off birth control for several months, I finally felt my normal self. I had no bloating, mood swings, migraines, or increased appetite. I have now been taking SLYND for two months and feel the exact same way I did while not taking any birth control. I still feel myself and have not gained any weight. I have high energy and do not feel tired all the time either. My periods have been a little off, but that is normal since I have only been taking it for two months. I am so pleased with SLYND and would definitely recommend it to others who have had bad experiences with other methods."

For Birth Control "After trying so many combo birth control pills for years with bad experiences, I was scared to try Slynd. I'm so glad I gave it a try. I have endometriosis, so I have to take it continuously. Slynd works so well with me - no PMDD, no cramps, no bleeding, no acne, no bloating! I am losing weight too. My appetite is normal. I always drink plenty of water, so I'm never thirsty on Slynd either. It has uplifted my mood, and everything finally feels just right. I believe this is the birth control that fits me."

For Birth Control "I had been taking Slynd for 5 months. I ignored the cramping and the nonstop bleeding, and also the cramping in my legs, and I stayed bloated all the time. I started having severe pain in my lower abdomen, went and got an ultrasound, and I now have fibroids on my uterine wall. I haven't taken Slynd in one week, and I already feel better. I don't recommend this birth control."

"I have multiple hormonal disorders, including PCOS, PMDD, endometriosis, and adenomyosis. I've been on BC before that had drosperinone in it (Yaz and Yasmin), which seemed to work pretty well, but I am very unhappy with how the progestin-only tablet is working. It causes really awful weight gain (I've ballooned up), bloating, breast tenderness, cramping, and now I have an ovarian cyst (which is the whole point of taking the pill in the first place). Since there is no generic, insurance companies don't want to cover continuous use, so it is near impossible to get when you need a refill. I am switching back to an older medication."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Slynd for about 5 months now, and I’m really not a fan. I had to change birth controls because of my high blood pressure from the stress of my job (I’m a teacher), and I was prescribed Slynd. In the beginning, it wasn’t bad, I did notice the decline in my sex drive, but nothing major. It has made my period extremely irregular and long! I had a period in May and then didn’t have another one until August, and it lasted for 12 days! I didn’t have a cycle in September, just some light spotting, and now in October, I have been on my period for 10 days and counting! It’s not a heavy period, it is lighter than my normal period, but who wants to be on their period for 2 damn weeks? Also, cramps every day. I also feel extremely bloated all the time, and my breasts are tender for about 2 weeks a month, which has nothing to do with my cycle being about to come on."

For Birth Control "I'm 49, and my period has always been very painful and heavy. I also have fibroids. Due to my period going on for a few weeks, my doctor started me on this pill. I was so scared, but it really helped me. My period got lighter, and my iron levels are back on track. I feel less tired now. I felt a bit of bloating in the first month, but it went away. The only negative is hair loss. :( I just finished 2 months, but will take it for a few months. I'm usually not very good with birth control, but this one helped with the bad pain and heavy flow."
