For Birth Control "Wish I never went on this. I started gaining weight rapidly. I gained 150 pounds in less than two years. In that time, I did NOT change the way I ate or how often I exercised. So, it was not due to lifestyle changes. Constantly short of breath. Made my hair fall out. Made my eczema worse. I had been off it for 8 years but was getting heavy periods where I would have blood clots the size of baseballs for at least 32 hours. I went to a doctor who told me that because of this medication, I had polyps on my uterus. I had to get them taken out. Just an all-around bad medication, and I don't know how the drug manufacturer does this to people."

For Birth Control "Very bad experience with this drug. I gained a lot of weight. Also, it killed my libido!"

For Birth Control "I've been on Yasmin for about 5 years now. In the beginning, it seemed really good as I was put on it because the one oral pill I was taking at the time ended up being discontinued. My body seemed to adjust well to the change. Recently, I have realized just how much taking this pill has taken a toll on me over the years I have been using it. I've gained weight, am more full of anxiety than I have ever been, and I am in a constant state of fear from it. Depression is tenfold, low sex drive, and now an increased amount of breast pain on my left side. Just recently, there were about two days I had to wait to refill my prescription. So those two days, I wasn't taking it - beforehand, I was experiencing 100/10 breast tenderness and pain more on my left side than my right even after a menstrual cycle. The two days I was off it, I had no breast pain whatsoever. When my prescription got filled and I started taking it again, this breast pain has come back."
