For Migraine "My neurologist prescribed the Migranal for me last year when I got into a 2-month-long migraine that was seeming to be impossible to break. I'm also on Nortryptiline and Atenolol as preventatives, and the Migranal is for PRN usage (as needed). As someone else said, this drug does seem to work the best if you use it at the first sign of a migraine. If you wait until your migraine is fully set in, it doesn't seem to work all that well. The downside to the medicine is that it does leave a terrible taste in your mouth, your throat burns, and your nose gets stuffed up. But compared to the severe pain of a migraine, I guess it's worth it. The worst part about it though is the cost."

For Migraine "Triptans unfortunately stopped working for me, so I decided to try this. First time I took it cut down my migraine by about 50%. Second time cut it down about 90%! Even helped my neck pain. Slight breakthrough pain, but much better. I just hope it keeps working! Only side effects I’ve noticed are tiredness and bad taste. Much better than a migraine."

For Migraine "This is my first dose of Migranal. I just went to a new neurologist this morning, and he gave me a sample. I have a slightly funny taste in my mouth, but I think it's because my nose is stuffed from the Migranal. No signs of the horrible migraine monster yet, and the first signs of it have stopped. I get debilitatingly severe migraine headaches with panic/anxiety attacks. Triptans have not been reliable, and I cannot afford to pay for a trip to the ER that many times a week. So far, so good, nausea and stuffy, but that's a vacation from one of my headaches!"

For Migraine "I get very frequent migraines, up to 15 per month. Have tried just about everything, including narcotics to control migraines. I am currently on Inderal daily as preventative (have tried many, many other drugs as well). Am currently taking Maxalt and Treximet, but the doctor suggested we try the nasal spray. I had a full-blown migraine when I tried it, so results may be a little off. Migranal caused burning in the nose and throat, nasal congestion. It also left a nasty taste in my mouth. Woke up the next day with the migraine still lingering."

For Migraine "My daughter gets migraines that last 1-2 weeks. After years of misery and nothing working, I finally convinced her neurologist to let us try this. I read all reviews, so I had her take a Zofran first. I gave her one pump in each nostril, waited an hour, and did one more on each side. Within 30 mins, the migraine was gone! We were on day 7 of misery. I am so happy this works and can be used at home. She had received this once before after being admitted to the hospital for a 3-week status migraine. It was previously an infusion. I had no idea we could get this drug for at-home use. This drug is very expensive to buy, but I did find a coupon. For 8 doses, I was willing to do it just to end our misery. If you haven't had luck with triptans, give this a try. It’s a miracle drug!!! The only side effect was a bad taste in her mouth. No nausea, but I did have her take the Zofran 20 mins before I used the spray."

For Migraine "Taste in mouth, burning in throat, stuffy nose, and nausea, which all passed after an hour. Medication effective within 60-90 minutes. Very effective and less expensive than a trip to ER to receive DHE intravenously. TAKE A ZOFRAN!"
