Diethylpropion for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was prescribed Tenuate extended-release tabs because of my caffeine sensitivity. Of course, I noticed a change, but not the jittery/shaky feeling that comes with harsh stimulants. My side effects included nausea, constipation, blurred vision (which I didn't associate with the meds). I lost 15 pounds over a three-month period, including the winter holiday period, but noticed after that I was not losing anymore. Two months later and a 6 lb weight gain, I've decided to stop taking the meds. Immediately, I noticed extreme exhaustion and an inability to get going."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been using this medicine for the past two weeks and started weighing 224, and now I am down to 214. I lost ten pounds and have 30 more to go. I take half a pill in the morning (10:30) and half in the afternoon (4 PM). I have kept my calories down to 1000 calories and have been very strict with it. I have not started with my exercise yet. The only side effects I have experienced have been a dry and sore mouth, some constipation, and only sleeping about 6 hours at the beginning. I am pleased with my progress so far!"

Diethylpropion for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking this medicine for 2 1/5 months and have lost 3 inches and 17 lbs, and I feel a whole lot better and have more energy. Also, walking twice a day at 6 am and 6:30 pm for 2 miles each session. I have cut my food portions in half, and I want to be losing more, but I am happy to be making the progress I am making. I had to increase my fiber because the medicine made me constipated. I do drink 10-12 glasses of water daily, and that does help some. I would love to read other posts on their progress that are recent this year. I will keep you updated."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Completely satisfied with this prescribed medication. The medication truly redirects your eating habits for the greater good. Minor side effects are dry mouth, anxiety, and constipation and will subside by drinking water. I've been on this prescribed medication since May 2017 and am down 20 pounds. Great results so far!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking this medicine almost four months ago and have lost 28 lbs. I am 51 and have some problems with my mobility, so haven't done much exercise at all but still managed to lose-and thereby help my mobility! I found the 75 mg dose too strong for me, and so I changed back to the 25 mg and even those, I only take twice a day instead of three. I have found that on the days that I don't take them, they still work! The main problem is that my poor bowels have completely forgotten how to work! I am eating a much healthier diet but still remain constipated-which is why I have a break once a week! I only need to lose another 14 lbs and I'm at my ideal weight. I would recommend this treatment to anyone!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am completely satisfied with this medication. I had a few side effects the first 4 days (a bit jittery, headache, insomnia, constipation), but all but the constipation has passed. I have been on this for 3 weeks today and am down 11.4 pounds. I am thrilled with it as I had tried Phentermine and had terrible side effects and had to quit. I am on about a 900 to 1000 calorie daily diet, drinking lots more water and walking daily. It gives me a good energy...I want to be up and doing things, but not like hyperactivity. It's been a great experience so far."
