For Birth Control "My Dr. told me Enskyce would clear up my acne, and I would have no bleeding because she highly suggested skipping the placebo week. HOWEVER, about 2 and 1/2 into taking Enskyce, I noticed bleeding outside of my period time. Apparently, it was spotting from withdrawal bleeding (something my Dr. failed to mention to me), and when I looked it up, it seemed normal for women starting a new birth control, so I thought nothing of it. It wasn’t until the bleeding became heavy and constant that I began to worry. It’s been 13 days, and the little “spotting” is now a heavy flow of blood. My normal periods have NEVER been this bad. What sucks even worse is the cramps that accompany this constant bleed. The pain has woken me up at night, interfered with my job, and overall just made doing anything difficult because it’s crippling. To top it all off, this med has given me intense headaches every evening, hot flashes, and zero improvement on my acne. I would absolutely not recommend Enskyce to anyone."

For Birth Control "I was on this birth control for 8 months, and it wasn't until now that I realized my emotions were gone. I'd either feel extreme anger or extreme apathy and nothingness. It made my cramps worse, I constantly got spotting days before my scheduled period. Do not take this."

For Birth Control "Worse, worse pill ever!! I was on Isibloom, then insurance changed to Enskyce. It has been 7 weeks on it, and I'm spotting every day, which is horrible for sex life; I'm moody and emotional, which is not like me, and I gained 6 lbs! I'm finishing this pack and requesting my old pill, even if I have to pay more! This is not worth it, and FYI, I take it at the same exact time daily. Oh, and the headaches are daily!! Run from this brand, please."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Enskyce for almost 2 years now. I have experienced increasingly worse PMS/periods, random spotting or early periods, mood swings, unstable angry/anxious/depressive episodes, and the nausea seems to be every day now to where I just don’t eat until I’m sick for calories. It’s the worst. Eating has no enjoyment anymore. It took me so long to figure out that Enskyce was the cause of my unpredictable moods and horrible stomach pain/PMS. I’ve experienced anxiety/depression beforehand, but I assumed I was just getting worse and worse. I only came across this page while searching for a therapist when I realized my stomach was hurting again 2-5 hours after taking the BC. I then searched the side effects and kept reading the symptoms other women were having. 1/10, and the 1 is because I haven’t gained weight."

"I started taking this about 3 years ago. At first, it was great. For about a year, things were wonderful. No headaches, anxiety, or moodiness. I take it continuously due to headaches and fatigue. I am a very active person, walking and weightlifting 7 days a week. I weighed 131 when I started on the pills, now up to 166, and no matter what I do, I seem to just keep gaining. My moods, anxiety, fatigue, and headaches are worse now than before starting the pills. We have bounced around with doses, and nothing helps. I CONSTANTLY spot. Acne is horrible on my face, chest, and back. My skin on my cheeks down to my neck has changed colors, gotten darker. I know a lot of people have great reactions with this med, but it seems when you get side effects from it - you get them ALL."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this for 2.5 years. At first, everything was fine, but a year into it I started having constant spotting. My emotions are all over the board. I’ll be feeling really low and recognize I have nothing to feel down about, but I can’t shake this sad/nothingness feeling. This is my last month, and I’m getting off."

"Same as a previous user mentioned, I only had to take this for 3 weeks prior to IVF, but whoah! In the first 3 days, I was emotional, irritated, and nauseated. It was horrible and not me. It had crippled my daily life. I noticed the onset of nausea and mood swings within 4-6 hours of taking the medication. I decided to take it before bed and found that most side effects have calmed down. I am on day 11 now, feeling much more like myself with a better appetite, but wow, Enskyce has horrible side effects during initial use. I also have been spotting the last two days, assuming again this is Enskyce, no weight gain or additional symptoms."

For Birth Control "This Enskyce birth control was amazing at first, but started to get worse over time. First 6 months, clear skin, no weight gain, I skipped my period with it, no mood swings. After about 6 months, I randomly had spotting and extreme pain where I had to go to urgent care. It went away, and I’m covered in acne, very emotional, and no sex drive."

For Birth Control "Nonstop spotting for 6 weeks. Weight gain, bloated. I can't wait to switch back to Juleber. My only side effect with Juleber was bigger boobs."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Enskyce for about 3 years now, and it was all good at first. Lighter, shorter periods, my cramps lightened up, and I had no more headaches until the beginning of this year (Jan 2019). At first, my periods became so light that I would only need a pad for about 3 days, then the period was gone. But now, all of a sudden, my periods have become extremely heavy. Now, I have to wear a tampon and a pad, and I’m changing it out about every 45 minutes. It lasts about 3 or 4 days, and then it’s back to spotting. I spotted for two weeks after my period was over. It is now about to be August, and I’m still bleeding heavily. I’m not sure what’s going on or if the pill isn’t working anymore, but I am looking to get on a different medication."
