For Birth Control "I was on Yaz, and it was the BEST! I had no acne, very light and short periods, no weight gain, and no mood swings. The only bad thing with Yaz was my hair began to thin, and it was very dry. I never had sex on Yaz, so I don't know how effective it was at that. On Apri, I now have mild acne, especially on my period, and I have horrible periods at that. Very heavy with lots of cramping. My appetite increased so much to the point I have gained 8 pounds. After a year of dealing with Apri, I switched to Beyaz since it has folate, which is good for hair and a baby if I ever do get pregnant!"

For Birth Control "I just got back on Apri, and it's day four, and I have already gained about 5 lbs. My acne is about three times worse than normal. Granted, I don't have perfect skin, but it's really bad at this point. I have kept the same routine as in the past, same diet and exercise. I don't recommend Apri to anyone that has acne."

For Birth Control "I've been on this birth control for almost 2 years, and I never had a problem with it! I got on it because my cramps were terrible! I did notice that it never helped my cramps, so I would just switch to the next pack. My skin was mostly clear with a pimple here and there. Besides the cramps, I loved it! No bad symptoms whatsoever."

For Birth Control "Not really a fan of Apri. It hasn’t caused any major issues, but I’m switching off because it’s made my acne worse and makes me sweat constantly. I think the acne is now worse from probably how much it makes me sweat. Didn’t cause any mood issues, weight gain, or life-threatening side effects though."

For Birth Control "Before I start my period, I get cramps, acne, and I'm very moody on this pill. My sex drive is usually very high. This is the only pill I've ever taken, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I don't find it that bad."

For Birth Control "Been on this for 6 months and plan on changing to a different one. My acne is ten times worse than it ever has been, and I get moody/sad crying spells where all I can do is cry for no reason."

For Birth Control "I only took this birth control pill for 2 months. I didn't feel depression, moodiness, or bloating. It also did not affect my sex drive, which was great. The reason I stopped taking Apri was because it made me ridiculously hungry. I'm very in tune with my appetite. I've lost over 50 lbs on my own, prior to Apri. But once I got on this pill, my appetite increased immediately. Like through the roof! Also, it gave me a lot of acne, and I've never had acne in my life. The first week I was on it, I broke out with 5 cystic pimples. The second week, 4 more came out. By the end of the month, I had a total of 13 pimples. As a person who's never had an acne problem, breaking out like that was unacceptable for me. Apri gave me painful headaches nearly every day too. Once I stopped taking it, no more breakouts or headaches, and my appetite is back to normal."
