Dapsone topical for Acne "TRY IT OUT! I'm a mid-30 yo female that has always been acne-free. Stress and bacterial infection from Clarisonic caused an acne breakout all over my forehead and cheeks. My dermatologist has put me on Solodyn 55 mg and Aczone 7.5% once a day. Here's my routine: Daytime - Purpose face wash, Kiehl's calendula toner, Aveeno positively radiant SPF 30 moisturizer. Nighttime - Purpose face wash, Kiehl's calendula toner, Aczone, after 5 minutes CeraVe oil-free PM moisturizer, oral Solodyn. I have been applying Aczone for 2 weeks, and it has drastically brought down the inflammation along with clearing some stubborn acne. I still have a ways to go, but this has made me feel so much better about my skin! Side note: 60 gram bottle dispenses 0.8% - so it should last you 75+ days, and the cost of Aczone without insurance is $75 - I called Allergan directly to get this info. Definitely try this out if you are dealing with inflamed, red, angry acne! I'll do another review at the month mark!"

Dapsone topical for Acne "I'm an 18-year-old female, and I've always struggled with occasional acne. It would come and go, but recently I was breaking out and picking my face constantly, which made it worse. I had many self-esteem problems because of this and had trouble going out because of the way I looked. A couple of weeks ago, a friend gave me some Aczone samples, and I've been applying it twice a day, and the results have been incredible. It cleans out my pores like never before, and I've tried many products, but nothing like this! It does take a day or two for the swelling of the inflamed pore to go down in size, so have patience."

Dapsone topical for Acne "Close to my 20th birthday, my face broke out with horrible, painful acne. Everything I tried didn't help at all. I always wash my makeup off morning and night, and that didn't even prevent it. I finally went to my dermatologist, and after trying all of their topical creams before in the past, my dermatologist recommended Accutane. I was nervous to take it, so he told me to try Aczone. It's been almost 10 weeks, and nothing has really improved except a little on my chin and forehead. My cheeks are still red and inflamed. I wouldn't recommend this product, but of course, there are all kinds of different skin types that it works better on than some, but I guess mine wasn't the lucky one."

For Acne "It's only been 2 weeks so far, my face looks disgusting. The acne is very red and swollen all around my jaw and chin. My face looks deformed, I'm trying not to cry. Going out, I feel so embarrassed, I look like I'm on meth from my face. I read reviews that said it could take months. If my face gets better, then I will give a better review. But if I put dapsone on existing acne, it makes it look more red."

For Acne "My first review was a one. I stated before that after 2 weeks, it was really bad, red, and swollen. So my pharmacist said to try using the dapsone once a day instead of twice. The directions did say twice a day for the prescription my doctor gave me. So after using it once a day, the acne has almost all cleared. Just some red skin from where the acne used to be. But it is healing and looking so much better. No more pain either. Still get a new small pimple every other day, but I can live with that."

For Acne "My routine prior to this was Adapalene 0.1% and Doxycycline Hyclate 100 mg once daily. Skin was nearly flawless besides a small/tiny breakout (a pimple or two every two weeks or so), which just started this year (2022). My appointment was in June. At the appointment, I was prescribed Aczone in addition to my treatment to lessen the small breakouts. THE WORST thing I could have ever done. It is now 9/8 and my skin has inflamed nodules all over my chin/jaw area and in my ear. It's red in some areas. My skin looks worse prior to Accutane treatment in less than 3 months. Plus it has become extremely oily. I had to discontinue and get an emergency appointment. Talks about doing another round of Accutane after the doctor saw my face. WORST TREATMENT EVER. Breakouts everywhere and worse than before. If your acne does not improve in 3 weeks, discontinue. Do not wait the standard 3 months."
