For Asthma, Maintenance "I started on Alvesco when my asthma was becoming more problematic, but Clenil caused a sore and bleeding nose and a sore mouth and throat. I've been using Alvesco now for one month. My peak flow has gone up from a near constant 290 to 360. I have barely used my reliever (maybe 2 times per week) with no side effects and am delighted. I'm 66. I haven't been 360 for over 8 years."

Ciclesonide for Asthma "Works well for asthma, but sore throat is really aggravating. And it’s not refillable, so every month, I have to purchase a plastic inhaler that goes straight to landfill. Where is the maker’s sense of environmental responsibility?"
