"I was on this for protection of kidneys from type 2 diabetes. After 3 weeks on a 2 mg dose, it caused massive hair loss. 6 weeks post withdrawal and still experiencing very large amounts of shedding hair. No mention of this possibility in any drug information."

"Works well, only requires a low dose, switched to this from lisinopril (lisinopril caused a cough)."

"Had stomach issues the first day after taking the candesartan/hydrochlorothiazide - mild at first, then near the end of 30 days, these issues progressed into abdominal angioedema. Before this last issue, my system was leaning more to painful constipation (I have IBS d/c), and there may have even been blood in my stool caused by painful evacuation. Stopped taking medication and immediately noticed the healing of the affected parts in my body; namely the above and swelling in throat/sinus areas. Lowers BP; at times, too low!"
