"I take an antipsychotic and had Parkinson's-like symptoms from that. The doctor put me on amantadine, and it seemed to help a little bit at first, but now I'm on a very high dose and I'm still having those symptoms. The one good thing I will say about this medication is that it didn't give me any side effects."

"So far, so good... helping with the restlessness and unwanted movements."

"My son was given Abilify, which caused tardive dyskinesia. He was then given amantadine for the movements. It seems to be working well, but he is now having other problems: peeling on his hands, intermittent redness, and rashes."
