For Headache "This is an old medication that I hope will never be removed. My grandfather used to take it when it wasn't a prescription. My father took it, and I take it. It kills the headache with just one dose within 20 minutes. Sometimes I may get sleepy when it takes effect, but I also believe this happens due to the possibility that I hadn't slept well and is why that particular headache came on. When I first started taking Fioricet, I did feel some light nausea and dizziness, but I do not get those side effects anymore. I also am sure I eat a couple of saltines when I take it. I have been on many other medications for my headaches and have not had the positive results that I get from the Fioricet."

For Headache "So thankful for Fioricet as I have had migraines/tension headaches for ten years daily. I can tell they are coming on and take 2 tabs within 15 minutes, have relief without side effects. A specialist tried 2 other pills that made me dizzy for 2 days as required before he would do Botox. He also tried amitriptyline along with the Fioricet, which gave me relief plus great sleep...maybe too much. I have been charged up to nearly $1000/year for 2 each 12 hours as needed...basically daily. I have demanded and gotten a $243 price, /120 days, self-pay, as my insurance does not have it in the formulary. Why is it so costly?...."

For Headache "Was prescribed this for tension headaches. It does something, but it makes me dizzy and lightheaded. It seems to start working nearly immediately (reduces the pain by like 50-75%), but after not too long, the headache will start slowly creeping back over the course of the next few hours. I actually have a headache I've been attempting to treat with it right now, and so far I've taken 7 pills over the course of 26 hours, and it's still here."

For Headache "I was prescribed Fioricet for a head injury after Norco made me nauseous. No nausea with Fioricet. It does make me dizzy and disoriented but helps with the pain."
