I have a sinus infection. What frequency should I take 500 mg amoxicillin?

This is the dosing information for amoxicillin (and would apply to a sinus infection. Dosing would be as per doctors instructions though):

Adults, teenagers, and children weighing more than 40 kilograms (kg) (88 pounds)—250 to 500 milligrams (mg) every eight hours or 500 to 875 mg every twelve hours, depending on the type and severity of the infection.

man well is right on about the dose ... I would like to add in many cases their is rhinitis involved in which you would need nose spray like Nasacort , Flonase makes me nausea 1-2 pumps in each nostril every 24 hr.'s once a day .
