Official Answer by Drugs.com 1 Jun 2016

Tecentriq (generic name: atezolizumab) is Roche's immune checkpoint inhibitor used to treat urothelial cancer, the most common type of bladder cancer.

Tecentriq will cost about $12,500 per month, roughly the same as the other approved PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors, which includes Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Opdivo (nivolumab) and Merck's Keytruda (pembrolizumab).

Tecentriq is given as an intravenous (into the vein) infusion every 3 weeks until the cancer progresses or side effects become intolerable, so total cost will depend upon treatment length.
