Triamcinolone may affect the diagnostic results of sodium iodide I-131. Talk to your doctor before you are scheduled for testing to find out if and for how long you should stop using triamcinolone so that it does not interfere with sodium iodide I-131 test results. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
