Usual Adult Dose for Atrophic Urethritis
1 to 2 applicatorsful intravaginally once a day for 1 to 2 weeks.
Usual Adult Dose for Atrophic Vaginitis
1 to 2 applicatorsful intravaginally once a day for 1 to 2 weeks.
Dose Adjustments
Gradually, the initial dosage should be reduced to one-half and continued for a similar time. Following resolution of symptoms, a maintenance dosage of 1 applicatorful intravaginally 1 to 3 times a week should be administered. Women not at great risk for the development of endometrial carcinoma (because of a previous hysterectomy) may tolerate a continuous daily dosing regimen.
