Usual Adult Dose for Intraocular Hypertension

One drop in the affected eye(s) three times a day

Comments:

If more than one topical ophthalmic drug is being used, the drugs should be administered at least 10 minutes apart.

Use: Treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma

Patient advice:

To minimize systemic absorption, pressure should be applied to the tear duct for two minutes immediately after administration.
Patients should be instructed to avoid allowing the tip of the container to contact the eye, eyelid, fingers or any other surface.
