Usual Adult Dose for Cold Symptoms
Acetaminophen 325 mg/ pheniramine 20 mg/ phenylephrine 10 mg packets: 1 packet in water every 4 hours
Maximum dose: 3 packets per 24 hours
Acetaminophen 650 mg/ pheniramine 20 mg/ phenylephrine 10 mg packets: 1 packet in water every 4 hours
Maximum dose: 5 packets per 24 hours

12 years and older: 1 packet in water every 4 hours

Renal Dose Adjustments
Use with caution in severe renal disease.
Liver Dose Adjustments
Use with caution in severe hepatic disease.
Precautions
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients
- Current use of any other drug containing acetaminophen.
- Current use of a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or use within 14 days of stopping a MAOI.
- Use with caution in marked coronary atherosclerosis, arterial hypertension, narrow-angle glaucoma, severe hepatic or renal disease, prostatic hyperplasia, blood diseases, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, congenital hyperbilirubinemia (Gilbert, Dubin-Johnson, and Rotor syndromes), hyperthyroidism, pheochromocytoma, and bronchial asthma.
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 12 years.

Administration advice:
- Dissolve packets in 8 ounces hot water; sip while hot and consume entire drink within 10 to 15 minutes
- If microwaving, add packet to 8 ounces cold water; stir briskly before and after heating; do not overheat.
- May add sugar to taste.
Patient advice:
- Do not use more than directed.
- Avoid alcoholic drinks.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Drowsiness may occur; concomitant sedatives or tranquilizer may increase drowsiness.
- Discontinue for nervousness, dizziness, or sleepiness.
- Use caution if driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery.
