For Insomnia "I never had sleep issues until one day I couldn't fall asleep. I figured it was a one-off and stayed up the night, figuring I would be exhausted the next night....but again, no sleep. I did this for a third night before going to the doctor and was prescribed zopiclone. It worked immediately, and I got a full 8 hours of sleep and woke up refreshed with little to no grogginess. I can sometimes taste the metallic taste, but it's not bothersome at all. Other than that, no side effects that I can think of. I have been on this for 11 years, never having to up the dosage (I'm on 7.5 mg). I take it about 15 minutes before bed. Over the years, it has lost its full effect, but it still calms me down and relaxes my body so I can fall asleep. Sleep is so important for your body and mind to work effectively, and especially for your mental health. When used correctly, this drug is no different than one for high blood pressure, diabetes, etc....it helps fix a condition (insomnia)."

For Insomnia "I'd rate this medication 9/10 for sleep. I found it more effective than zolpidem and most other stuff for sleep. When you first start, it leaves a metallic taste in your mouth for the next day. For a short-term solution, I would recommend it for bad bouts of insomnia."

For Insomnia "I take this whenever I am going through a difficult patch in life to help me sleep. It works amazingly, take an hour before bed. Helps you fall asleep fast and stay asleep. I’ve heard that the effectiveness reduces over time, so I try to only take it when I need it. If only I had known about this medication during my studies and interviews - I would be so nervous I wouldn’t sleep more than an hour. Also helps when you’re unwell. It’s a precious pill. Only con is the metallic taste so swallow it quickly."

For Insomnia "Took 3.75 mg. Asleep within 60 mins, woke up after 6 h, but the next day felt like 2-3 hours of sleep - initially feeling energized with a crash around 4 h after waking. Metallic taste present but only noticeable when thinking about it. Felt severely impaired 6 h after waking until bedtime."

For Insomnia "I found this medication extremely useful at calming my anxiety and panic attacks during the day and then went to bed at night as normal. I do not drive and would not recommend taking it during the day if you need to operate a car or machinery. Also, if taken during the day, it does not hinder your ability to sleep the next night if you do not take another. Slight metallic taste. Occasional headache the next day."
