Viloxazine for ADHD "This is a good, thorough review! So I have bipolar disorder I, and no doctor would entertain my claim of ADHD, they also said I'm fine because I'm in law school. But my first year was horrible. My doctor told me she would let me try Qelbree if I agreed to give up my as-needed Klonopin. I said yes. First day, I took it at bedtime. Slept great, slight headache the next day. Second day, I sat down and studied for five hours straight. I was so happy. I was slightly worried it would trigger mania. However, I can function manic fine and safe. I did completely lose my appetite, though, only being hungry once a day or eating edibles. Often, I didn't eat for full days. I got super constipated and had to meal prep. But my confidence skyrocketed. I clean, study, and work more efficiently. My doctor messed up my refills, and I had to go ten days without it. That was rough, I was eating a lot and moody. I just restarted, focus is back, but it feels like crack!"

Viloxazine for ADHD "My 12-year-old grandson has been on stimulants for 5 years, and we have tried them all. He went on Qelbree, and it has been a game changer, he has no anxiety, and he is getting straight A’s in school. He is more responsible and doesn’t need to be coached to get his assignments done and in on time. He is on 400 mg, and the only side effect is less appetite. Only one complaint is that the capsule is so big."

For ADHD "Qelbree has been amazing for our son. He has ADHD and began showing OCD behaviors when puberty hit. So we avoided a stimulant (which our psychiatrist said could exacerbate his OCD symptoms) and tried Qelbree. It instantly transformed his behavior and ability to do schoolwork. By two months in, his grades had improved as well as social engagement. He is now 15 and functioning well at 400 mg. If he forgets to take it, he can get a headache (which we found we can quickly remedy by him taking his Qelbree and some acetaminophen). The only other side effects noticeable are a lower appetite at times. He takes no other medication, so we have no problems with drug interactions that the negative reviews seem to have in common. If you want/need to avoid stimulants, I would highly recommend trying it."

Viloxazine for ADHD "I am a 22-year-old married man with a daughter on the way. I tried Qelbree because of avoidance tendencies, mood swings, and impulsivity. I didn't want to take stimulants this time (I was on one as a child for six years for ADHD). Doctor said 200 mg for one week, then up it to 400 mg. I have had manic suicidal episodes every day on this medication. At first, I thought I was just anxious about being on a medication, but they kept getting worse. It's hard to eat, I can't sleep, and I feel nauseous all the time. I have felt an unprecedented amount of pressure in my chest. I can't understate how bad I felt. When I upped it to 400, I got mind-splitting headaches. It wasn't worth it."
