For High Blood Pressure "Currently on verapamil 120 mg SR, metoprolol succinate 25 mg SR, and valsartan 160 mg in the morning, and rilmenidine 1 mg in the evening. This way, my blood pressure is always between 110 and 150, and my heart rate is from 50 to 65. I am 75 years old. My HBP is malignant. My doctors really worked hard setting this treatment plan for me because I can't take the following drugs: indapamide, hydrochlorothiazide, zofenoPRIL (...) [triggering atopic dermatitis], amloDIPINE (...) [triggering angina]. 8/10 for verapamil because from what I noticed while taking it, my diastolic blood pressure is never going above 60-65 anymore. For my edema (as a result of my cardiac illnesses), I use furosemide and allopurinol a few times a month together."
