For Migraine "I do not like Ubrelvy! I normally take Zomig to treat my migraines and am happy with it. Unfortunately, my insurance only allows a certain amount per month. My neurologist gave me a couple of samples of Ubrelvy to help offset the absence of Zomig. He also gave me a prescription for it. I'm very thankful I have not filled it! I used the samples this past week, and it didn't touch my migraine. In fact, I think it made it worse. I also got very nauseous, and that continued even after violently vomiting. It made me very sleepy, and I felt terrible the rest of the day. I woke up the next morning feeling very strange. I didn't have a headache but felt 'woozy' in my head. My head felt very heavy, and my eyes felt weird. Not going through that again!"

For Migraine "I have been a migraine sufferer for years. Triptans were the only thing that really worked for me, but I hated taking them. It cured the headache, but the rest of my body seemed to shut down after taking them. My throat and all my muscles would hurt, and the slightest physical exertion felt impossible after taking the triptan (Zomig). My doctor just gave me a sample of Ubrelvy, and I was skeptical, but it really helps. The downsides are 1- it takes longer than Zomig to work, in my opinion. Almost 2 hours vs. 30 minutes for relief. 2- it may be slightly less effective at eliminating all pain, but gets it to a very tolerable level. It does seem to make me a little sleepy, but it is not nearly as debilitating for me as the Zomig. I think it is safer too for us older sufferers."

For Migraine "For me, it’s better than triptans for migraines, and the side effects are minimal. Plus, there are no real drug interactions if you are taking medications for anxiety/mood disorders. With triptans, there are interactions. You may get a little sleepy for an hour or two, but it eventually “breaks up” my migraine to an adequate degree. You may have to take two doses, but it has a long half-life. I like it a lot, nothing is perfect, but it helps with little or no side effects. I only have 50 mg samples for now."

For Migraine "This medication, Ubrelvy, is absolutely TERRIBLE! Beware! I took 50 mg the first time, and it did absolutely nothing for me. Went back to my neurologist, and they gave me 100 mg to try. After I took it, I got so dizzy and sleepy I actually got into a terrible car accident. I didn’t realize how sedated and dizzy this med can make you."

For Migraine "Ubrelvy 100 mg works amazing for me. Sumatriptan didn’t touch my migraines and made me feel super drowsy and foggy. Similar experience with Nurtec, which made me nauseated and sleepy. Oftentimes, my migraine is gone in less than 20 minutes after taking Ubrelvy. I’m so glad to have something that works and doesn’t give me side effects!"

For Migraine "I currently take monthly injections of Emgality and have Botox every 3 months. If I have a migraine, I have been taking rizatriptan for the past 6 years. My neurologist gave me a sample of Ubrelvy. My migraine went away in about 30 minutes. However, I was extremely nauseous, dizzy, and sleepy. I became very lethargic for about 2 days. I could not get out of bed. Although it did work for my migraine, the side effects were not worth it."

For Migraine "I've never reviewed any medication in my life, and I don't take anything besides Ubrelvy. I have suffered from migraines for nearly a decade, but I felt compelled to review Ubrelvy because it simply changed my life. I considered myself disabled and was always scared of having a migraine attack, especially when around my young son. Ubrelvy does take about 2 hours to start working, but once it does, it lasts the entire day, and you forget you even had a migraine. It is AMAZING! You do feel tired and sleepy, but I can deal with that as long as the migraine and nausea go away."

For Migraine "I took Ubrelvy 50 mg for the first time today. My migraines have become very frequent, and I feel that Imitrex is only giving me a few hours of relief before the pain comes back and I need to take a new pill. My Dr. recommended trying Ubrelvy, saying that it will work better than the triptan and that I will have fewer side effects. I guess it is not for me. 1) didn’t get rid of the pain until after 8 hours, 2) made me nauseous, 3) made me very dizzy and sleepy, and when I sat on the sofa to rest, I started having terrible hallucinations. This happened to me when I took Percocet after a surgery a few years ago, and it was horrible. From that time on, I’ve never accepted a prescription for pain relievers, and I will never take Ubrelvy ever again."

For Migraine "Went to my doctor after experiencing 6 migraines over a Saturday-Thursday time period. This was very abnormal to me, as I usually get a handful of migraines yearly. She gave me some samples of Ubrelvy to try. I took a 100 mg and was unable to stay awake within the first hour of taking it. I slept for 4 hours and woke up with worse pain than the actual migraine itself. I do believe that with these medications, it can be hit or miss for different people. Based on my experience, this medication was unfortunately a miss for me. I definitely will be seeking a different medication from my doctor ASAP."

For Migraine "I have been happy with the results. I don’t feel sleepy very often after taking Ubrelvy, and most of the time my headache is gone after a couple of hours. It doesn’t work as quickly as some drugs, but I don’t feel like I get rebound headaches and have fewer side effects than other drugs I’ve used for headaches."

For Migraine "Ubrelvy makes me sleepy, but I like the long half-life. One 100 mg dose stops my 36 hr migraines."
