For Migraine "I have migraines mostly stemming from upper neck area pain that turns into a migraine on half my head, from the back of neck to forehead and behind my eye. I take 50 mg Ubrelvy that works within 2-3 hours. A miracle! Since my migraines usually last about 36 hrs. I’ve noticed extreme fatigue and body aches 2-3 days later, that has happened twice. Not sure if it’s related. But after taking my 8th Ubrelvy (over the last two months), I noticed random twitching while I was resting. This started an hour after I took Ubrelvy. My entire leg twitched. Then, a few minutes later, a small twitch in my thumb. Random twitching all over my body continued. Not constant but still kind of disturbing and lasted several hours. It’s a miracle for my migraines, but I need to find out what this could be before I continue taking it."

For Migraine "Took my first 50 mg dose and got migraine relief within an hour, but soon thereafter got nausea and a very crazy feeling. Garbled speech, trouble standing, and extreme fatigue. Tingling lips, itching, and felt like something stuck in my throat. Won't be taking this med again."

For Migraine "For more than thirty years, I have rarely had more than one migraine a month, usually a week before my period. Excedrin Migraine occasionally helped lessen the severity of my symptoms (nausea, intestinal distress, fatigue, light and smell sensitivity, and, of course, the feeling of a drill going through one side of my head). Recently, I began experiencing weekly migraines. After a month and a half, I asked my doctor for an Rx for Ubrelvy, which I’d heard about on TV. The next time I started to feel migraine symptoms, I took the lowest dose, one pill. An hour later, I felt a bit groggy and postdromish, but the migraine was gone. For me, truly a miracle. I have used it for three subsequent migraines, all with the same result. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me, medically speaking. Maybe it only works well for people like me, who don’t get migraines as often."

For Migraine "Ubrelvy works well for me, though it is slow-acting. Chronic migraines for 40 years. I've tried most preventive and acute meds. Triptans (I've tried them all since 1992) work for me but cause debilitating fatigue and body aches, which have gotten worse. Ubrelvy has had no side effects for me (taken 8 times), but it needs 3-4 hours for pain relief to kick in. 100 mg is somewhat faster than 50 mg. Only once has the migraine pain returned that day. Much better results for me, as I don't lose the whole day to pain or med side effects. Very grateful to have a new acute treatment option. Mfr copay card covered most of the cost."

For Migraine "I could cry from relief to have a drug that stops a migraine. Heck, I have cried from relief for this very reason with Ubrelvy. I've had migraines since I was a tiny child. Other things I have tried could maybe dull the pain but never stopped it. I've taken my 4th of five pills now. The pain always recedes within 90 minutes. Side effects on a 50 mg dose are mild; I have a weak appetite and a hint of nausea for about 24 hours and have a little fatigue... But that's way better than a migraine. I had started on 100 mg, but the nausea at that dose was unbearable. Thankfully, the half dose works just as well without causing severe nausea."

For Migraine "Huge improvement over injectable sumatriptan! Ubrelvy does take an hour to work and up to 2 hours to take full effect. But Ubrelvy has completely eliminated all 5 migraines I’ve had since I started taking it. Mild fatigue does last a couple of days, but so does the anti-migraine effect. In the past (with injected sumatriptan and other drugs), each migraine usually lasted 2-5 days. Same with IV meds from ER. I’d feel somewhat better until the next morning when another migraine would start all over again. So with Ubrelvy (and the preventative Botox injections), I now have found some real lasting relief. With Ubrelvy, if I have to function, I actually can work and/or do most normal activities (though tired) after 2 hours. Although ideally, I find it best to get a half a day of rest if possible. Note: I also take Toradol for the headache portion of the migraine if headache pain is a particularly prominent feature. My neuro allows me a few Toradol a month."

For Migraine "I suffer from vestibular migraines, most doctors don’t even understand what they are. They just think, oh migraines, nope, they are different. I have tried so many meds with no relief. The most recent was Ubrelvy. It knocked the migraine down from a 10 to a 5. However, I was so sick to my stomach: severe nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea two hours after taking it. I was up all night with a severe upset stomach. I tried Zofran, Nexium, and Tums. Nothing worked. Then I felt fatigued all day the next day, like a hangover, and the migraine is creeping its way back in."

For Migraine "I took Ubrelvy for over a year, and it was like a miracle drug at first, but my headaches started increasing in frequency, so I was taking more and more. I noticed side effects of severe joint pain in my hands, rapid heartbeats, SVTs, high blood pressure, extreme fatigue, dizziness upon standing, and extreme tingling in my upper and lower extremities as time went on. I spent thousands at the cardiologist, and they were baffled. I abruptly stopped taking the Ubrelvy, which was almost daily, and switched to Ajovy monthly shots, and within three weeks, all symptoms subsided. Neuro decided all of my new health issues most likely were from Ubrelvy and doesn’t recommend I take it anymore. I am back to taking Maxalt for any breakthrough headaches."

For Migraine "I’ve been dealing with migraines for 20 years. I have tried everything and have been through a slew of medications over the years that either didn’t help, hardly helped, or helped at first and then, months later, do nothing. I finally saw an actual neurologist, and this was the first “rescue” med we tried - it’s helped substantially. It takes a solid hour or so for it to work, but when it finally does, the migraine is at least 50% better, or it has fully gone away. I was hardly getting any relief from anything else I tried, so Ubrelvy was a real eye opener for me. It’s a rare occasion where the one pill doesn’t help enough, and I have to take a second pill, but when I have taken a second pill, it definitely did the trick. I am also on a preventative that I take daily (Qlipta), and I’ve had even more relief. I experience a smidge of fatigue, no other side effects. Try it, it’s worth it!"
