For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I just started Zepbound 3 days ago (2.5) and have felt sick ever since. I’m nauseated, have terrible heartburn, and I have a bad taste in my mouth. I know these symptoms might go away over time, but they’ll occur again when dosing increases. I knew there were side effects, but I can’t stand feeling this way. It definitely killed my appetite, but it’s not worth it. For me personally, the long-term risks involved are not worth it either - thyroid cancer, pancreatitis, eye issues, and more. I don’t have a huge amount of weight to lose, but I’m now motivated to do it the right way - diet and exercise. My friend has had no issues whatsoever, so good luck to those of you who are in that boat! It’s not for everyone."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Flu-like symptoms, nausea, discomfort after eating anything. Broth has been my go-to. Very fatigued. Hoping week 2 will be better. Today is day 7. No appetite, no energy. There's not an option for maybe. One week isn’t enough time to give recommendations."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "On week 5 of Zep. Goal to lose 20-25 lbs. Received a 2.5 mg 'loading' dose, I split it into 1.25 doses 3 days apart for the first 2 weeks as I tend to react strongly to meds. I had a bit of anxiety and fatigue on this dose and appetite suppression that waned by week 2, so I increased to 2.5 in one shot for weeks 3 and 4. Less anxiety/fatigue but more nausea and constipation, still manageable. I received a 5 mg dose in the mail at week 4 but had already lost 15 lbs on the 2.5 dose for 4 weeks. Week 5 - I tried the 5 mg. The next day, I was so sick to my stomach and nauseous that I struggled to eat or drink at all. I was dizzy and felt terrible, depressed, and kept getting the long bouts of hiccups. I will be at goal soon and plan to switch to metformin to maintain weight. For me, this med is miraculous, but I do not feel great on it. (For reference - I have a mental health diagnosis and pre-existing mild gastrointestinal issues, MTHFR gene variant)"
