For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have always been a chubby girl. Since I've hit 29 years old, I have now had trouble losing the extra pounds. I was at 206 lb at 5'8" on June 20th, 2025. I started Mounjaro and lost a whopping 14 lb in only 7 weeks on the 2.5 mg dose. I have since stopped, as the only thing it did for me was get rid of food noise, which, to be honest, food was never my issue. I don't eat terribly, and believe the weight was stress and wine! I would only suggest this medication for those who need to lose over 100 lb. If you're only trying to shed 20-50, it is not worth the side effects. It started with anxiety, stomach pain, diarrhea, and then slowly got less and less. However, I could not shake the mental effects. For some weird reason, it gave me brain zaps. I have also now been diagnosed with gallstones. I have since stopped med, and continued to lose weight! Meaning, you CAN do it, but you need to have discipline. My takeaway is this: UNLESS you have a hormonal imbalance or you are 300 lb+, do not bother."
