Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Honestly, I inserted this application right before going out, so around 9:30 pm, about 15 minutes later, intense itching had started! It didn't subside until an hour later when I peed, and then it was bearable. I woke up this morning and feel completely fine, so I feel like it did its job. If you aren't super sensitive and can withstand extreme discomfort like an hour and a half, then do it!"

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "It was an awful experience, just like all these reviews say... I used it for a small yeast infection and woke up with severe burning and itching, much worse than before applying. Idk how to proceed with my day now that I can barely walk from all the discomfort. Horrible product. Must be taken off the market!!! It's a health hazard."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had a different experience than others. I used Tioconazole 1, and after 15 minutes, it started to burn. Not too bad, but it’s definitely uncomfortable. After like an hour, the burning starts to go away, and you don’t feel your symptoms as much as before. I think it’s a good product for the most part!"

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Bought this for my wife. We read the reviews AFTER applying... Oh boy. Her vag caught fire within about 20 minutes. I would like to shove this up the person's anus who approved this dosage and let them take it for a ride. We had to arrange the covers so it covered our whole body, but allowed her butt to hang out while cold air was being blown on it from the window. Meanwhile, I am shuttling ice up and down the stairwell for her to apply, trying to figure out just what the hell I have gotten myself into."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Please, please don't use! Omg, I wish I found this before inserting the goddamn ovule! For two hours already, I'm in the worst imaginable pain and discomfort! I'm out of my mind! Trying to endure, hoping it will subside, but seriously considering rinsing/removing this curse of 'medicine' I paid almost $20 for!"

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm 18 and only use Dove soap to wash myself up. However, I ran out one day, so I began using Olay for about 3 days. Out of nowhere, I began itching, and my private area was extremely irritated. So I actually got Monistat 3, not 1, but I still had a horrible experience. I applied it around 9 pm on day 1 and went to bed. I woke up around 2 am with terrible, terrible itching and burning. I looked at these reviews and couldn't stop crying. I quickly jumped in the shower and rinsed it all out! After that, it was still slight itching and discomfort. So now, at 3 am, I'm icing my vagina and praying for the best. I will never look at this product again."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "My experience with Monistat 1 was really good. Monistat has always worked well for me. I was scared because of all the reviews, but it ended up not being bad at all, the only discomfort I had was with all of the product coming back out, minor cramps, and minor itching. I put it in as far as I could and put on a small amount of the cream before sleep and experienced itching for a few hours, but nothing major. Small discomfort during the day after, but now it’s about 24 hours after and I feel no discomfort at all!"

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "It is 1:36 am, and I have never felt a more irritating pain. I have never left a review on anything before in my life, but I want to make it CLEAR that this is the worst $20 I’ve ever spent in my life. I honestly would rather have the very mild yeast infection I had than go through this intense itching for this past hour. I inserted this around 10 pm and was pleased with how little irritation there was. Watched a couple Parks and Rec episodes on Netflix and started to feel the warm sensation others have spoke about. Then, it began. It’s definitely a burning itch. I had an internal vaginal itch before taking this product, and this itching is 300 times more intense for sure. I have used 3 or 4 of the cooling wipes now, trying to soothe the itch, but I’m still very uncomfortable. I wish how uncomfortable this process is was more clearly stated on the box. I hope this at least gets rid of the infection, but regardless, I am never taking this route again."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I too, just like the others, used Monistat 1 day before I read the reviews! I too experienced a great deal of discomfort to the point that I wanted to scratch my insides out. Fortunately, it only lasted for about 2 hours. Per some suggestions on this review, I tried plain yogurt and an ice pack. Now it is morning and I am still feeling a slight pain and burning, but tolerable. At first, I was standing and sitting, and then I lay down for the night. I think this product is best taken at night, so you can lay down. If you experience the very negative side effects, call your doctor and don't wait. My doctor said that this medication is very strong and that it used to be what was given in RX strength. He suggested hydrocortisone or cortisone on the outside only."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have had several YIs before, have used the 7 and 3-day kits (active ingredient Miconazole) and have taken the Diflucan prescribed by a doctor. All four treatments gave some discomfort and itching. The 7 and 3-day kits and prescription took too long, and I would itch myself and cause even more discomfort and swelling to myself. I picked up the one-day Tioconazole (6.5%) for my most recent YI. The first few hours of application, the itching did worsen, however, I did not experience any burning. I found that reading a book and doing Sudoku kept my mind off the itching. Currently on the second day, and I only have a slight itch, 75% better than before I took the treatment and barely noticeable compared to the first few hours of treatment. The product does work, and while there is some discomfort, it beats waiting 3-7 days for relief."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I always use Monistat 1 because I'll forget to finish the course when I used 3 or 7 days, lol. It burns like hell about an hour or so after you insert it. That's when the egg is breaking down and killing the yeast. I've only ever used this, so I expect the discomfort. I'd rather it hurt for a few hours than have this dang infection, though. Nope, doesn't feel good at all. But it sure does get rid of the infections. I've been using this since I was 18. I'm 31 now. I have to use it once a year, maybe twice. It all depends on my asthma steroids. Regardless of the pain, if I have a yeast infection, I go to the store for this product with no hesitation."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I, of course, took this medicine without reading the reviews, and sure enough, I got the horrible side effects a lot of women are saying on here: extreme vaginal swelling and discomfort. I immediately squeezed as much of this out of my vagina as I could, took some ibuprofen, and iced my lady bits. Why is this medication even being sold if so many people are having a nightmare of an experience? Never again! I’m hoping to not have to go to quick care tomorrow with this embarrassing symptom. I’m hoping it will feel better in the morning, as this woke me up at 1 AM."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have used the 1-day Monistat ovule before, and it has always cleared up the infection. But there is definitely an initial 24 hours where everything is worse-I'm in the middle of that right now. I took it last night at about 1 a.m., and I feel swollen and sore. Made it through the day but canceled plans tonight because I'm so uncomfortable. Hopefully, I will wake up tomorrow and the YI will be gone."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I started noticing/questioning symptoms on Sunday, bought medication on Tuesday. Applied before bed, after laying down, with no intention of getting back up. I did not experience any of the misery that the others are posting, but have experienced it with antifungal sprays on my feet. I can't help but wonder if there is a correlation with the progression of the infection, perhaps if there is any broken skin or not? I would absolutely use this medication again without hesitation, even if it were to cause me some discomfort. It is worth it to get my lady bits back in check."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm unsure as of yet whether this horrid medicine has helped or will help, but I wanted to add to the numerous warnings from others like me. If you're reading this before buying, DON'T DO IT! The discomfort and irritation from the infection is a cakewalk compared to what you will feel after inserting this into your most delicate of places. The pain and burning were so intense that I'm quite certain the inner walls of my vagina were melted through. Never in a million years would I have imagined that I would contemplate stuffing my hoo-ha full of ice. Please, heed these warnings, it's not worth it! And if you're one of the poor souls desperately trying to determine how long your torment may last, unfortunately several hours. Good luck!"

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I took the Monistat 1 about 2 hours ago, and I'm losing it! I've taken the 3-day before, but it was never like this. I'm not sure whether to go to the ER or douche or what. I literally want to have my vagina removed right now, that's how uncomfortable I am."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I haven't had a YI in about 4 years. I wear tights and a small outfit for work, so it made the pain three times worse. I wanted it gone ASAP, so when I saw the one-day application, I decided to give it a try. I did it at night. It did burn a little, but not where I was crying or anything like that. Just to make it where I couldn't sleep because of the discomfort. The next morning, all of it had seeped out, and the discharge consistency from the YI had already started to lighten. The cream soothed the outside so much more. Didn't itch or burn or anything. Everyone's body is different. So I say if you are the type of person who can handle pain, then do it, if not, do the seven-day Monistat."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am 19 and have never had problems with my pH balance or YI. I thought my infection was a UTI at first, and I took some medicine and drank tons of water. It never went away, and I started getting red and swollen, so I decided I had a YI. I got the Monistat 1 day capsule, and I felt great after inserting it at like 9 or 9:30 pm. I'm now awake at 2:48 am with some burning and discomfort. Reading the reviews, and I'm hoping it goes away."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Maybe the ones that are hurting have more severe cases of YI. I took this 4 days ago, and I have had no problems. Was easy to use. There hasn't been any pain or discomfort. I'm 42 and have had two children. I would recommend this product."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am 24 and have had a few YIs in my lifetime. I realized this morning that I was developing one and knew that I wanted to take care of it ASAP. I decided to buy the Monistat 1 and applied it around 10:30 a.m. Around 11:30, I began to develop a mild itch (only slightly more so than from the YI itself), and it is slowly starting to subside and get better. The highly concentrated dosage will undoubtedly cause some discomfort for some people, however, the pros of having only one dose outweigh the cons for me, personally. I did use one wipe before inserting the ovule and then used the cream immediately after."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I started experiencing a little discomfort. I used Monistat 1, put it in at night, went to bed, and woke up the next morning with a little tingle and mild burning feel. By 7, the burning was gone. I could feel it had finally melted and begun to work. Would use again."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Guys, do not go through this amount of pain. I put this in around 8 and went to sleep, no problem. It's currently 2:45am, and I am in agonizing pain. I mean, like WOW, it's on fire! So, so, so uncomfortable. I'm unsure how to relieve the pain and may have to go to a med express, so please just save yourself the pain."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I’ve never used this stuff before, but I tried it anyway. I see a lot of reviews on here for some type of unbearable pain after insertion and releasing the ointment. I have endometriosis, and I am VERY sensitive to anything going on “down there.” I must admit that this was uncomfortable at first, but not unbearable. Just prepare yourself for what you see in the toilet after this stuff does its job, it’s gross."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is my first yeast infection, and so I bought the Monistat 1-day ovule. It was very uncomfortable to put in, and it felt like a marble was sitting up there. No more itching or burning than what was already going on, but because it was so uncomfortable, I wasn't sure that I put the ovule up far enough because about 2 hours later the ovule seems to dissolve and come out. Definitely will just deal with the 7-day gel one next time and will probably end up going to the doctor anyways."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have had yeast infections before. My doctor would always give me the 1 tablet for my yeast infection, but it never seemed to work, so I decided to try Monistat last night since I knew for sure I had a YI. I inserted the little egg at around 11 pm. About an hour later, I started to feel some serious discomfort. I started to get nervous because of the extremely uncomfortable burning. I read some of the reviews and decided to stick it out for a couple of hours. I took another shower with cold water, which helped a lot. After 1 1/2 hours, the burning faded away. I woke up the next day and had no symptoms of a YI. Yes, the experience was painful, but it did the job!!"
