For Constipation "I had the gastric sleeve surgery almost a year ago, and as a result, I get backed up easily if I don’t take MOM (Milk of Magnesia) nightly. Well, I forgot my MOM the other night, and sure enough, I became miserable pretty fast. I had tried these before, and they worked, but no one wants to use an enema, so I waited. I shouldn’t have waited! This morning I tried on my own and knew I’d be in trouble if I didn’t intervene. So, I went ahead and administered the enema. The trick is to hold on as long as possible and not to go right away. The saline makes you think you have to go, but you need to wait to let it do its job, otherwise, you’ll just evacuate the saline. Sit down and let it work its magic for a few minutes. It’s worked in as little as 2 minutes, and today it took about 8. But once it worked, I was a bit uncomfortable with the cramping and stretching, but it’s worth it! An hour later and I’m a little raw but empty and comfortable! Ready to take on my day!"

For Constipation "I was nervous about taking an enema after I tried another laxative and had excruciating cramps. I was desperate, though, so I did it. Didn't hurt one bit and easy to do. I thought it would feel weird filling up with fluid, but other than the temperature, it felt like nothing. I felt the urge after like 2 minutes and immediately released all the fluid and no BM. Thought it wasn't working. Then 5 minutes later, it worked SO WELL over and over. Never felt better. Effects lasted 30 minutes, and for comfort, I sat on the toilet seat with a heating pad on my stomach the whole time. Super minor discomfort in the abdomen right before a BM release for like 10 seconds, but no severe cramping at all. All my bloating, constant strained tiny BMs, gas, and chest back pain gone! Try it if you need it!!"

For Constipation "WHAT A RELIEF!!!!! I tried another enema 2 hours before this and almost passed out. Ended up in the ER, they sent me home with Fleet Enema, and 10 to 15 minutes after using it, instant relief - a little pain but was expelled in less than 20 seconds. It’s been around 40 minutes now and I get the urge to go roughly every 10 minutes. There is nothing left, but my body can’t help but contract and try and empty. So happy it’s over with, now just wish the cramps would stop. I’m done, I’m empty, and having external hemorrhoids is hurting. One thing I’ve noticed in the last 20 minutes, I’m getting heart palpitations, maybe it’s nerves because I’m dreading the next cramp. By the way, I was constipated close to two weeks. It felt like I was going to have a baby from my butt, but the Fleet reduced the size and it was easy to expel... I was extremely anxious to take the medication but thankful I did."

For Constipation "I have been trying to pass a bowel motion for over a week now. I tried everything from coffee, spicy foods, and apple juice to Miralax and oral laxatives. Oftentimes, I tried a couple of methods in one day. All it did was stir my stomach and give me gas. I suffer from internal and external hemorrhoids, so pushing the slightest bit causes inflammation and pain. I've had enough and purchased the Fleet Enema. I contemplated the mineral one vs. the saline but stuck to old faithful and used saline. 30 seconds is all it took, and I made a huge and smooth bowel movement. I currently have some cramping, but it feels like it may just be a little straining and could be because I used the whole bottle (some people recommend only half). This stuff is amazing!"

For Constipation "I had knee surgery a week ago and was severely constipated. I went to the ER worried I had an obstruction, which luckily I did not. They sent me home with Citroma and said to try a Fleet enema too. I drank the Citroma at 5 pm and started to get horrific cramping at 7. I was shouting out in pain until 2 am. My husband drove to CVS to buy the Fleet enema. I was scared but tried it, and within 2 minutes felt the need to go, which I did. My cramps have subsided, thank goodness. It is now 3:30 am. I wish I would have tried this earlier. I had tried Dulcolax earlier in the week, but that didn’t work for me even with taking 3 pills. I got very sick from that product. I hope this helps other sufferers of constipation from surgery. Good night."

For Constipation "I have been having constipation for the last month or so, pooping once to twice a week. The stool would be very hard and caused much rectal pain and bleeding after. Recently, I had a stool that was just too big and too hard to push out because it was way too hard and very, very painful. It had already been almost 5 days since my last BM, so I tried suppositories. After, I spent an hour or so crying, trying to poop after trying suppositories. They didn't work, so I turned to this enema. Although it did hurt a bit, the stool came out very easily after I pushed really hard. Didn't cause diarrhea, cramping, or anything after. Worked fast and easily. I'd recommend this for sure."

For Constipation "I had been backed up for 5 days after going on a trip, tried the laxatives, but it was just making me strain myself. I was so afraid of using this Fleet application, but after reading the reviews, I knew I needed immediate relief without it being so painful. I kid you not, I didn’t even get halfway through the bottle, and I already felt like I needed to go. And I was right, literally everything was cleared out of my system in less than 10 minutes. I won’t lie, it was slightly painful, but it was over so quickly it wasn’t worth focusing on. I can’t believe how much relief this has with it. Definitely will use it again if the time ever comes, which I really, really hope it doesn’t. Some say you may feel cramping after, but I haven’t experienced anything besides relief (ok maybe a little soreness, but yanno). Highly recommend, it saved me so much pain and time lol."

For Constipation "I had Zofran constipation. I was taking the Zofran for Hyperemesis Gravidarum (super, super bad morning sickness). When you are in this hideous place of Hyperemesis Gravidarum, you can't take anything orally even with Zofran. Intestine not moving whatsoever. Saline Fleet enema was the lifesaver. Kept in for 2 minutes, and then boom! Another bowel movement after some cramping in 15-20 minutes and cleared it all. Easy to use and no mess."

For Constipation "I was having constipation issues and hard stools that wouldn't come out due to medicine I was on for a bladder infection. So I went and got a Fleet enema and took it. Within a second of taking it, I was able to go, but it hurt because the plug wasn't closed and the stool had to break free of that. Once it did, everything came out. It left me sweating a lot and minor cramps in my stomach while using the bathroom, but after like 5 to 10 minutes, cramping stopped and I felt better. Fleet is good, but if your poop is so hard, it hurts when it does finally come out."

For Constipation "Did not finish the bottle because I immediately felt the urge. Had a lot of cramps but listened to music to get my mind off of it. Started around 6:30 pm, kept getting up to use the restroom. Felt good after two hours. Give yourself enough time. Definitely worth it!"

For Constipation "I have struggled with chronic constipation for years, unfortunately, ever since I was a child. Fleet enemas are a lifesaver for when I need some relief. They are easy to use, and for me, get most of the job done. I am rating it a 9/10 only because sometimes I still have some stool left inside me even after enema usage. However, I have problems with motility issues too, so I am pretty sure it is my body and not the enema causing that. One tip I have is to try and hold the enema in for as long as possible. I try for five minutes. When I started using enemas, I held in the solution for one minute and only initially expelled the clear fluid. The saline makes you feel like you really have to go, but the shorter you hold it in, the less stool will initially come out. There is some cramping for me when I try to hold it in for the 5-minute period, and it can be difficult, but it is what gives you the best results!"

For Constipation "I’ve been constipated for a week now due to the doctor prescribing Zofran. I tried everything: stool softeners, juice, milk of magnesia, and nothing was working. I saw Fleet in store and thought I’d give it a try. It is easy to use, has lubricant, but I had to get S/O to help due to I couldn’t hold it in for that long. In about 5 minutes, it started to work. It was a little painful (cramping) but nothing like other laxatives cause. I feel completely empty and better than ever!"

For Constipation "I used the Fleet Extra Strength Enema kit, and I feel like a new person! I felt the urge to go in just 4 minutes! However, the only downfall is the cramps that follow until your whole colon is cleansed. These cramps lasted about 7 minutes, and once everything was out of me, I felt amazing! Highly recommend the extra strength version!"

For Bowel Preparation "Terrible product. Not the first time I have used it for bowel prep for sigmoidoscopy, and both times it has caused severe cramps, chills, headache, and rectal bleeding. I am guessing if used for constipation, perhaps not absorbing as much of the medication to get the severe cramps."

For Constipation "I rarely leave reviews but feel compelled to after finally getting relief from constipation. I’ve been constipated since a medical procedure I had about a week ago. I tried Colace, Smooth Move tea, and a full dose of Miralax today. I had cramping and a small, hard BM but was still very bloated, uncomfortable, and constipated. I decided to give the Fleet Enema a try before contacting my doctor. It worked within about a minute. I had an explosive BM, followed by some smaller, soft BMs over the next 30 minutes. I’m feeling a lot better and am so glad I tried this."

For Constipation "Had to take oxycodone for 3 days and figured it would back me up. I felt like I had to go, but nothing came out. Tried the Fleet Enema and waited 3 minutes before I had the urge to go, and a piece as hard as concrete came out, and then the floodgates opened. My butt is a little sore, and past uses have prepared me for a day of some cramping, but this stuff sure works."

For Constipation "I have a history of positive HLA-B27, ankylosing spondylitis, Marfan syndrome, and IBS. I regularly have OIC and have used enemas multiple times in the past but generally try to use other means first. This time, I shouldn't have waited. After days of taking multiple laxatives and continuing to not go, I finally broke down and used the enema. Inserted, administered half the bottle, assumed the position, and waited 5 minutes like normal. Felt the urge to go, so I sat down and immediately expelled the water, pooped a few small turds, and that was it. It's now been 7 hours, and I continue to cramp, get dizzy, sweat profusely, have heart palpitations, and then I go a tiny bit. This has by far been the worst enema experience of my life. Word of advice, when in doubt, douche it out."
