"It is a miracle for my recurrent pericarditis and my need for steroids to control the disease. I could not go below 25 mg of prednisone before my first injection. I was on at least 25 mg of prednisone for over 20 years, daily. From my first injection of Arcalyst, I was able to begin weaning the pred. It has been almost 3 years. I am sustaining 2 mg of prednisone per day at this time. I have injected Arcalyst every week since that first one. I’ve had very little issue at all with pericarditis. Now my body is feeling the effects of running on prednisone for all of these years. If you have a tough case as I did, do it now! Gave me my life back."

"After having a scare of open-heart surgery at 33 years old, I took a chance and started taking Arcalyst. I have had 3 injections, and it has reduced the pericarditis by about 80 percent. I now have no need for the surgery. I hope this review can help someone else to prevent surgery for them."
