For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in my lung in November 2024. I started Kisqali treatments in December. I'm finishing up my 6th dose. The cough I experienced before diagnosis is completely resolved. I found the Kisqali side effects to be very manageable. Skin rashes are mostly resolved, some hair thinning and minor gastrointestinal issues are all minor now. My fingernails are thin and brittle, solved by manicures. I also biked 150 miles in Europe last month with no issues. I'm still working at my hospital job part-time. I don't have the results of my most recent scans, so I don't know if my tumors have shrunk, but I definitely feel great. I have been told by two oncologists that Kisqali will stop working. Compared to the chemo infusions I received 23 years ago, these side effects are minimal, and I'm enjoying life. My hope is that research continues, it brings hope."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I have been on Kisqali since September 2018, with no disease progression. Tumor markers in the “normal” range. Side effects: nausea, diarrhea, joint pain, some hair loss in the early stages, the occasional rash or skin sensitivity, fatigue. Having said all of this, I am living my life, working full-time and traveling when possible... life is good!"

For Breast Cancer "Just diagnosed. One month so far. 600mg. I take them with dinner, and no nausea. Mild headaches, so drink lots of water. Constipation, so again, drink your water. Stool softener will help. Mild rash, no itching. Light hair loss in the shower. Fatigue is prevalent."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "9 months taking Kisqali. Scans show no progression. Side effects I have experienced are a skin rash, some hair loss, hallucinations and/or nightmares, stomach pain after taking pills that lasts about 1/2 hour, and a dry mouth. Otherwise, they are very easy to take. I take 400 mg daily."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I have been taking Kisqali for 7 months and am VERY pleased with my results. My cancer antigen number continues to drop every month. I take it in conjunction with Letrozole tabs. I have the absolute BEST oncologist team at Duke Hospital in Raleigh and Durham, NC. Dr. Payriani and his team are superb. My side effects have been minimal to say the least: I had a rash that covered most of my body for about 2 months, and I have been losing hair, which, to me, is worth it to see the results I am getting from the medications."
