"Symlin (synthetic amylin) was super helpful. If I understand correctly, it helps guide the sphincters to close (between the stomach and duodenum) when you eat so you can actually feel full and actually digest at a more normal pace. I used it as a teenager and am getting back on it now since my insurance will let me purchase it again, but it's a huge help and I think every type one needs this hormone because we don't make it and non-diabetics do. I highly suggest it, I love this drug."
