"Absolutely disgusting! Something is wrong with this stuff. I have taken Miralax and generic forms from two different stores and had no issues with taste or smell. They usually have no smell nor taste. This stuff from the pharmacy smells like chemicals or some type of metal mixture. You cannot mix it with anything to mask this nasty taste. I have tried three different times from my pharmacy thinking it was a bad batch, but they are all the same. How can I expect my child to drink this if I cannot even bear the taste nor smell?"

"I've been using Poly Glycol 3350 for 5 years through a major drugstore chain. A few years back, they, in their infinite wisdom, decided to partially switch suppliers to Gavilax. Upon opening a container, I was shocked at the strong chemical smell. Regardless, I tried it in my coffee: ugh!! Without exaggeration, it reminded me of WD-40. Until recently, when placing my 60-day order, I was able to finally obtain the different brand that I'm accustomed to (after an extended delay). It appears that my drugstore is now exclusively sourcing with this brand. If there were a numeric '0' on your Rate this Medicine, that would be my response."

"My 89-year-old mom was using Miralax for many years with no complications, but it was getting too expensive paying out of pocket for her, so after visiting her primary doctor, she prescribed 'GaviLAX' last year. Over the course of time, we couldn't figure out why she was having bad cramping and bloating until I read up on side effects! Definitely going back to Miralax!"
