For Bowel Preparation "I read these terrible reviews obsessively the weeks leading up to my colonoscopy, and if you are doing that too right now, let me tell you: stop right now. It's not healthy. Anyway, I had to take the two doses in the same day since my appointment was scheduled at 6 pm. I took the first one at 7 am, having mixed it up with water I've had previously left cooling in the fridge. Passed the time by watching TV series on my tablet. Second dose I took at 2 pm, with the rest of the water from the fridge. Side effects: the desired diarrhea, a very, very sore butt, and I got a little bit of chills while taking the second dose. Helpful tips: -Take the water very cold, but not agonizingly cold. -Take your sweet time or you'll get nauseated. -Take a warm bath/shower if you feel chilly. -Try to relax while watching Netflix or something. -The worst side effect was the sore butt, so try to take it easy on that part. Hope it turns out well for everyone!"

For Bowel Preparation "I can’t believe this is on the market. By far the worst prep I have experienced. Yes, the solution is tough to get down and tastes bad, but I could do that once every 5 years. It is the violence of the cleanse and its lingering effects that concern me. Plenvu caused explosive diarrhea and incontinence. Yes, incontinence. We threw 5 pairs of pajamas. It caused stomach pain, shakiness, and nausea. I am now 4 days out from my colonoscopy, and the profuse diarrhea hasn’t stopped. I still have mild nausea and abdominal tenderness. My Plenvu experience was horrible, and I won’t use it again."

For Bowel Preparation "I was given a 'sample' of this for some bowel issues (not a colonoscopy), it was the whole box. I won't be putting anything into my body which does any of these horrible things. Diarrhea and evacuation of the bowels is A-OK, but not all these other things: vomiting, etc. SO MANY one-stars. I called my doctor and requested they just prescribe me the 1-gallon awful stuff I had before, that can be put over ice with a straw and gotten through. Not taking a chance with anything that has two phases, the other is so much easier. No way I will ever consume this much PHK (think aspartame), my liver will be happy without it!"

For Bowel Preparation "I have never had such a frightening, horrific experience. Part one of the prep was as expected. Part two sent me into violent vomiting and diarrhea. While vomiting into the toilet, the other end was spraying the walls. Because of this, my colonoscopy was almost canceled. I begged them. This is the last colonoscopy I will ever have."

For Bowel Preparation "Prepping for a colonoscopy... Mixed powders with 1/4 of water recommended so as to dissolve, refrigerated, then added orange Gatorade. Used hard peppermint candy after each quarter-hour dose. First movement was within an hour of the end of the first dose. Began at 4 pm, with the 2nd doses beginning at 9:30 pm. Effective colon cleansing, but side effects were terrible. Massive migraine even though I took a preventative triptan, insomnia, diarrhea several times during the night and the next morning, and nausea. I will never use this product again!"

For Bowel Preparation "I had to cancel the scheduled colonoscopy because I could not leave the toilet. It’s nearly 24 hours since I started the first dose, and the diarrhea is still going strong."

For Bowel Preparation "I’d rather die than take this vile stuff again. I’ve had several colonoscopies and never had trouble drinking anything and getting through the prep. It never stopped working, and I’m still taking Imodium two days later to stop the diarrhea. I’d NEVER go through that again. I was so miserable my husband poured out half of the last bottle so I wouldn’t be tempted to drink it. No words to describe how awful. It was effective, I guess, because my doctor was able to complete the colonoscopy. I did let him know how bad it was. No “ease of use” whatsoever."
