For Bowel Preparation "Most ingredients in this are the same as in Movicol, which I take regularly for IBS-C maintenance. I usually have flavorless Movicol and stomach its salty taste easily. I’m taking MoviPrep to prepare for a colonoscopy tomorrow and barely tolerate this horrible, overly artificially sweetened, artificially flavored vomit juice. Trying to get it out of the way as quickly as I can, I got the first liter down in about half an hour or so. Feeling extremely bloated and nauseous. Felt lightheaded shortly after finishing. I’ve done this once before, so I am prepared for the ‘evacuation’ and know what to expect there. I know it is effective. My main problem with it is that I honestly feel like it would be more tolerable without all the extra sweetener and flavor in it! I don’t understand how they think it’s better this way! The awful aftertaste is 100% from the sweetener attempting to mask the underlying saltiness."

For Bowel Preparation "Had colonoscopy 10 days ago, 2 liters of MoviPrep didn’t work. It had a nice strong lemony flavor, took the first liter between 1 pm & 2 pm, plus a liter of water. No bowel movement, felt nauseous, headache, body hurt, dizziness, and couldn’t relax. Second between 5 pm & 6:30 pm with a liter of water. I was bloated, regurgitating, pain. No bowel movement by 11 pm, all fours position alleviated some pain. Hot herbal tea & 1/2 hour of meditation on the loo, slowly it began to happen. Not explosive or often, but up all night with wet wind. Procedure was at 1:40 pm & not cleared out enough. Second colonoscopy on Saturday, I have three liters of MoviPrep. Had low-fiber diet all week. I normally take laxatives nightly, which take a lot longer than it says on the box! My history is chronic slow transition & rectocele. Hopefully, this time it works."

For Bowel Preparation "My appointment was for 7:30 a.m., so I had to take MoviPrep the day before. I found the taste to be so disgusting I could not finish my first liter, and it made me sick. It made my bowels move as it should have done, but because of the sickness, I had to cancel the appointment. My stomach now feels bloated. I am now going to have to use something else. I'm not happy at all."
