For Constipation "Taking Equate Fiber Therapy Calcium Polycarbophil helps me with constipation because I use oxycodone 5 mg 2x daily for severe pain. Other stool softener meds like docusate 100 mg don't work as well."

Polycarbophil "Very efficient and have been taking it for years on direction from Gastroenterologist who performed my scope test. It works within 24 hours for me, and generally speaking, it works within approximately 10 to 12 hours. I have had no side effects. Dosage: calcium polycarbophil, 625 mg equivalent to 500 mg of polycarbophil… two caplets once a day and on rare occasions, two more at evening time… This is only when I do not get relief. It is very easy to use and relatively cheap at RITE AID. I strongly dislike that I have to not have any other medication by mouth two hours before or two hours after taking calcium carbophil. The benefit from this drug is that I now have once daily BMs. It is good to feel normal again. Thank you."
