Emetrol for Nausea (phosphorated carbohydrate solution) "The very first time I've seen this product, I was at my aunt's house who had passed away, but Anyhoo, I read what it's used for, didn't think much of it at first, left it alone, knowing that I do get easily nauseated due to stressful situations. And also too from eating something that my stomach doesn't agree with as well!! So when I did became nauseous during the funeral, I was looking for quick relief, so I remembered the emetrol she had in her medicine cabinet, I went to get it, plus it was brand new, so I took some, and I tell you it helped me so much. This was back in August 2000! So from then on I buy this product just to gave it on those "Just In Case" Situations!!!! Everyone Should Have This Product!"

"I had a friend who drank too much on an empty stomach. She was vomiting continuously for over 12 hours but refused to go to ER for anti-nausea medication. So I went out and looked for an OTC and found Emetrol. When I came back, she has just vomited again, so I had her take it. She immediately vomited it up. I waited 15 minutes and had her take it again and she kept it down. She’s finally sleeping and hasn’t upchucked for an hour, so it’s a win."

Nauzene (phosphorated carbohydrate solution) "I frequently experience nausea and vomiting as a side effect of a prescription medication. I do have a prescription for Zofran and it works amazingly, but it causes severe constipation, which brings a whole other host of issues. I think the Nauzene works just as well for nausea, but I’ve found both of them can miss the mark for preventing vomiting after a certain point. It’s one of those things, if you’re going to vomit you’re going to vomit and there is no stopping it. I’ve found the nausea begins to subside immediately, but I usually try to chew it and only swallow half, and then I let the other half continue to dissolve under my tongue. I’m so pleased with the flavor too. The cherry doesn’t take the cough syrup, it’s sweet but not overly sweet, and there is relatively little aftertaste. Oh, and it’s super cheap."

Emetrol (phosphorated carbohydrate solution) "In all 44 years of life, I’ve NEVER heard of this medication and was skeptical. I stumbled upon Emitrol in a desperate search for something to help my brother who was non stop vomiting for over two days. I was about to call an ambulance it was that bad and have never seen anyone stay so violently ill for so long. He fought me on it, wouldn’t take it until he finally relented and IMMEDIATELY he began to improve. It’s been 12 hours and I’m happy to report he’s getting back to his old self! I HIGHLY recommend it! It’s as miraculous as all the reviews claim it to be!!!! My brother is a large man (6 ft over 275lbs) and was improved with ONE dose!"

Emetrol, Cherry (phosphorated carbohydrate solution) "Had a little too much fun the night before, and was throwing up for 10+ hours straight. I called my aunt who worked in a doctors office and she ran and bought me Emetrol. I took 1 dose and felt a little relieved and then took another does about a half hour later and felt 100% better."

"Considering the ingredients you could just have a coke instead. It did reduce my minor nausea though. Probably works a little better than a coke because it has less water and sugar in relation to the phosphoric acid. But what do I know..."

Emetrol (phosphorated carbohydrate solution) "I was diagnosed with mono last week and started to get severe nausea a couple of days ago. I was prescribed Zofran, but I sometimes have strange effects with that medication. My boyfriend picked up some Emetrol for me from the pharmacy and within minutes after the first dose, my nausea subsided. I have been using it since and I haven't had any nausea. It is great for quick relief. I highly recommend this!!"
