"I went on a ketogenic diet for a year before ingesting 1 mL of Nystatin 4x per day for 14 days. The thing I really screwed up on leading up to taking Nystatin was uncontrollable sugar consumption. After learning about candida, it makes sense because candida consumes massive amounts of sugar before your cells can even use it for energy. The most important thing when taking Nystatin for candida is no sugar, no carbs, no fruit, no honey. Nothing sweet. The first week of Nystatin was rough. There were a couple of days I could barely hold myself up. But then, miraculously, I started having huge amounts of energy when the candida started dying about 10 days in. I have a very low body weight and didn't consume carbs at all for about 3 years before taking it. So, if you are coming straight from a carb-heavy diet, it's probably not going to work. Do a strict carnivore diet 2-3 months before taking it so you don't waste your time."

"I am on liquid nystatin every 8 hours. I started Friday night. By 5 pm the next day (Saturday), my temp had increased to 103.1. I also had intestinal pain, cold extremities, chills/shakiness, intense body aches that hurt so bad that I can't pick things up with my hands. I was able to get it down with several doses of Tylenol over the night. Now Sunday woke up, no fever, felt drained but kinda okay. Then 11 am, it started again, all symptoms and fever rising. I took Tylenol, and it is less helpful than yesterday. I only took half a nystatin dose today. I am drinking so much water and broth that I pee clear. Is all this normal, or do I go to the ER?"
