For Dietary Supplementation "This is effective, but be very wary of side effects. I had an incredibly severe reaction. I was born with asthma, but it became very mild after age 8. For over a year, I was on a similar vitamin before switching over to this one. After the first day, I noticed my nails were growing whiter and stronger. However, I looked like I had a sudden breakout. They were hives. Two to three days, I was bedridden with asthma, flu-like symptoms, severe rash, vomiting. At five to seven days, my throat swelled shut and I was in the E.R. Seven days ago, I was put on prednisone and stopped taking this vitamin. I know it was a reaction because I took the vitamin today and ended up in anaphylactic shock, back in the E.R. I have never been so incapacitated and ill. Be careful."

For Dietary Supplementation "I have been taking Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Softgels for 30 days now. I didn't realize the allergic reaction I was having was related to these vitamins until today. I have been to Urgent Care twice, the dermatologist, and my primary care doctor in the past month to address my swollen, numb, burning, peeling, stinging lips. I have been treated with prednisone and antibiotics and topicals. In addition, I have had diarrhea. I should have checked the side effects and reviews first!"

For Dietary Supplementation "I used the gel caps, and my hair grew great, and no side effects. I bought the tablets and had a severe reaction, rapid heart rate, very high blood pressure, and a feeling of passing out, no hair improvement. I thought I was going to have a stroke, and I do not have high blood pressure."

For Dietary Supplementation "I took these pills 1 day, 12 hours later I had a neck rash patch. I was confused about why. I'm so blessed to have done the research and figured out others had a negative experience with these like mine before I continued to take the pills. I stopped them a week ago. I bought them on the 30th of April 2022, it’s the 7th of May today, and I still have a very small patch, it’s healing though and thinning out. I don’t recommend these pills unless you want a bad allergic reaction. Imagine if I kept taking them, I would’ve been covered with rash patches for months. It’s still going away. I’m now on Nature Made Hair Skin and Nails, and I haven’t broken out so I know it’s not biotin-related. I’m either allergic to collagen or pig gelatin. Probably going to do some research, but I believe I took collagen before by itself and never broke out. This brand just sucks."

For Dietary Supplementation "I took this to help with hair loss. I had a very bad allergic reaction on different occasions. Tight chest and throat, nausea, fast heart rate, vision changes."

For Dietary Supplementation "Good thing I've read comments from this site, now I'm relieved. I started using Bounty for hair, skin, and nails a week ago. My skin was fine before taking it, but some rash and itchiness developed since day two of taking the pills. I think I have to stop it now since I'm scared of the possible things that may happen to me. Being cautious on the drugs or pills to be ingested should be considered in buying this kind of product. Most people commented a serious problem on their end while taking this drug, so I guess Bounty should make a recall on their products. I am not buying any Bounty products anymore. It's traumatizing since I can recall that this is the cause of my allergies as well back in February. I've learned my lesson."
