For Pain "This medicine claims to be 24-hour extended release, but it is not. It releases the total dose within an hour. This is not an effective generic equivalent to Avinza 24-hour ER or Kadian 12 SR or Kadian 24-hour ER. The pain control is not effective or consistent. The side effects are severe and dangerous. I had a severe headache daily, liver enzymes elevated, no appetite, severe nausea, caused chest pain and shortness of breath."

For Chronic Pain "My breathing got very bad. I wasn't told about the side effects. I read about it on this site, and I asked my GP why I wasn't told about the side effects, and he wouldn't tell me, so I may need to talk to my lawyer."

For Chronic Pain "15 mg 3x a day ER. I've been trying to find the right medication to treat fibromyalgia pain. I've experienced nearly every side effect, worst being respiratory problems and weight gain. My attitude has been poor, and I'm completely miserable. It's increased my depression. For all the horrible side effects I've experienced, it doesn't seem worth it to stay on the medication for minor pain relief. The same has happened to me with Lyrica (Neurontin with a prettier name) and tramadol ER. Morphine is by far the worst. I gave it 2 weeks, but I can't take any more of the nausea and illness this medication has caused. I took a morning dose today and feel ill, as usual. I can't wait to flush this garbage from my system."
