For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After reading all the bad reviews, honestly, I was scared to try it, but after trying it, I have nothing but good comments. It did burn for about 1 hour, but it went away, and it wasn't bad at all. The more severe the infection, the more it is going to burn and itch, keep that in mind. I used it overnight, and by morning, my infection was gone! Amazing product :)"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm not one to write reviews often, but I decided I could share my experience with hopes to calm somebody else's anxiety down. After a couple of days feeling sad down there and seeing no improvement, I decided to buy Monistat 1. It was very straightforward and easy to use. After using the treatment, I decided to look up reviews to see what other people's experience was like. Oh my goodness, most of the reviews were negative, and I was ready to run to the ER to see if they could take the ovule out because I was so scared. I decided to wait it out and see if that was going to be my experience as well, but it wasn't! I slept like a baby the entire night! Three hours into the treatment, I started feeling a little uncomfortable itch inside of my hoohaa, but nothing major. Definitely wear a panty liner because you will be passing the infection the next day with an increase of discharge. I do know everyone's body works differently, but to me, this worked wonders!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After reading the comments, I’m glad I wasn’t the only one. We experienced a nightmare. I took it to clear minor itching, and hours later I noticed my vagina just started burning. Like someone rubbed pepper in it. It hurts to pee, it hurts to sit. I have already scheduled an appointment with my gyn tomorrow because this has to be fixed ASAP. I do not recommend the one-day treatment. It’s possibly too strong."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Worst pain ever! I didn’t feel hurting and burning upon insertion. I was actually pretty hopeful. Boy, was I wrong! I woke up 2 hours later with the burning pain-pain that I’ve never felt before. I only took the medicine for minor discomfort I was feeling and wanted to give it a try... no! I literally sat on the toilet considering driving to the ER. I took a bath to seek comfort and that didn’t help at all! I even tried to see if I could find the little egg and clean out my vagina, nothing helped! Read comments and reviews before buying... I wish I had."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was a bit skeptical about trying this one because of all the reviews saying it caused burning and itching worse than the infection itself. But I had the worst burning and itching sensation ever and didn’t have access to a doctor right away, so I had no choice. I was up all night because I was in so much pain. Then finally at 7 am, I went to Walmart to buy this product. I inserted the little egg at 7:43 am. And I put the cream everywhere on the outside. I instantly felt relief and was able to go to sleep. It’s now 5:16 pm, and I’m still feeling okay. Still a little discomfort, but a lot better than what I was feeling before. I read from the reviews it takes a couple of days for it to fully disappear, so hoping these next few days fly by."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Well, I just got out of the shower at 3:30 AM when I have to be up for my day in 3.5 hours. My vagina feels like someone lit a match and shoved it up my vagina where it didn't burn out, and at the same time, someone is roasting my vulva with a lighter like a marshmallow. My vagina hurt less directly after giving birth. I'd rather have a yeast infection for the rest of my life than ever try this product again. If you came to the reviews trying to figure out how to stop the pain, just lay down in the bath and let the water rinse everything off... it doesn't stop the pain completely, but it lowers it enough where I finally stopped crying."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After all the horrible reviews, I was afraid to try, but I had already bought it and went for it. I inserted at night and had no symptoms, woke up fine, went pee, and I just experienced a cool sensation, no burning. So, I discovered that if you use this and don't have a yeast infection (it may be possible you have bacterial vaginosis, similar symptoms as a yeast infection), and the bacteria will grow more as Monistat is to treat a yeast infection, hence why some people are experiencing a lot of burning, because you need antibiotics."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT use Monistat if you are sensitive. I am very sensitive to everything. I used it on Friday night, and it lit me on fire. It is now Thursday, almost a week later, and I am still so raw and blood red. Something in the ingredient I had to be allergic to. I have read over reviews, so maybe I wasn’t allergic to it because it has done other people this way. Do NOT use it, just go to the doctor."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "These reviews are crazy. I usually don’t do reviews, but I felt it was necessary to share my experience. So I had been diagnosed with BV and was prescribed antibiotics. After finishing the antibiotics, the itching and burning were still present. I researched to find that taking antibiotics could cause a yeast infection. I bought probiotics, and I also bought the Monistat 1. My yeast infection had just arrived, so I caught it before symptoms could get worse, so I didn’t experience burning or pain after inserting the ovule-just a little discomfort. I then applied the cream. It says it could take up to 7 days to cure. By the 4th and 5th day, I wasn’t experiencing any more burning or itching. It took some time, but it worked. I applied cream for 7 days just for assurance. I’m all better now. I’m also taking my probiotics daily to try and prevent any more infections trying to attack my precious vagina! Everyone’s different. Good luck!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Absolutely horrible. The burning was unbearable. On the recommendation of another reviewer here, I actually jumped in the shower and spent 10 minutes washing it out. It did help a little. Now I’m trying to sleep with an ice pack between my legs. I can’t believe they advertise you can sleep with this horrible medication. Do not pop this acid ball inside you."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Anybody that says this product is good is evil. It's not the egg then that burns. It's that cream. We should come together and file a lawsuit. This thing feels like putting your vagina in a deep fryer then putting lemon juice on. I don't see how this is considered a legal product. I want a full refund."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Always experience intense burning and itching with Monistat 1 day because it's stronger in order to work quicker. And today is no different. Just when I thought it was too unbearable, I applied a bit of coconut oil to the outside of my vagina, and immediately I'm relieved. I can now see light at the end of the yeast infection tunnel. Hope this helps someone else."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The first time I used this, I thought I was allergic to the medication because it itched and burned so bad! It felt like REALLY BAD internal itching all over my body, as well as my vagina! It was an itch that you could get no relief from, even if you scratched! I vowed to never use this again until I read the reviews and realized this is how it works! Well, it worked. I'm using it again right now and my vagina feels like it is on fire, itching like crazy, and I have the internal itching all over my body again! It's awful, but it does work... if you can wait it out and be strong through the itchiness and burning, it's well worth it! Good luck!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "First, I never write reviews, but that awful thing y'all put in a pack and call it Monistat 1 is the meanest. So I tried the Monistat 1, and for the first hour, I was good, I could actually see light at the end of the tunnel. But after that hour is when it all went wrong! The pain is unbearable, there’s no way you can sleep or do anything but lay in your bed or take cold baths. The pain is so bad I know I cried for Jesus a few times. For some reason, every time I hollered, 'Help me, Lord, please,' I’d feel better for a second. I don’t recommend anyone to take this product unless you love pain and want to lose sleep and be calling on the Lord all night, then go for it. PSA to anybody that said it worked for me and it was gone the next day - that was a lie from the pit of lava - it didn't even work."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "A day later and my pootang is still on fire! May as well have slashed it up with paper cuts and drenched it in lemon juice or hot pepper juice. I've had kids, I've been stitched, I've been in car accidents with severe broken bone injuries... I'd have a root canal with no anesthetic before I'd ever try this again. I'm scared! Glad other people had it too, otherwise I'd drive myself to the ER. Feel their pain, though, and do not want anyone to ever go through this. I had to put a frozen burrito on it! Only relief so far, not to mention the swelling :( I hope at least the YI goes away within the next day or two! Who can tell if it did or if I got a chemical burn!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Put it in and take a nap! I see all these horrible reviews, but I put it in, took a nap, added some more of the cream when I woke up, which helped but still itchy and burning. It’s just part of the process, people. I’m sorry, but suck it up. And keep the area dry, you don’t want to keep it with a wet towel, it will promote the growth of the yeast. Also, the directions are VERY CLEAR about increased burning and itching. So you knew what you were getting into... don’t complain if they warned you about it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ok, ladies, you’ve come here in search of why your coochie feels like it caught on fire and got put out with a fork. This awful cream's itch and pain will only intensify the more you scratch. Scratching makes small tears and will make your coochie even more mad. To help with the itching and burning, run a warm bath, hop in there to soothe it. Lightly wash the outer area with just water. After, you can purchase cooling wipes and use those as needed. But whatever you do, refrain from scratching down there. It will only intensify that ever-lasting flame in your vagina."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I did y’all a favor and waited until after I was done crab walking vagina-first through Dante’s Inferno to form my opinion of this product. If you’re like me, and you’d rather see what it might feel like to recover from a venomous snake bite to the chooch than to pay $200 for an office visit, listen up. Do not make plans. Do not have any distractions except for a TV show you adore and have already seen a million times. You won’t be able to focus, so it’s key you already know the storyline. You’re going to birth fire, and it’s important to know that beforehand. Lay on your back and use a pillow to prop up your hips like you’re trying to get pregnant. The stinging is worse when the medicine is slowly seeping out, so keeping it inside you is the best way to make it through. Just breathe. If you can stand it, it works. It’s not fun, but it saves you money and time. I am posting this one week post-firebaby, and I can vouch the recovery was gradual, but I am now cured."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used the one-day Monistat combo pack, which came with an ovule insertion and topical ointment. I was very hesitant about using this product after reading all the horror stories on here but decided to take my chances anyway. I took it during bedtime and was just preparing myself for agonizing pain like most of you have said on here but was shocked that I had no reaction. No itching, no burning. I had the complete opposite: pure relief! Maybe I felt a little warm down there, but that’s about it, nothing alarming at all. My YI symptoms were very mild, and the dosage worked for me. I would take it again for sure knowing I had no issues with it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Beware! This product makes you burn and itch like crazy down there. I bought the 1-day version, and honestly, I wish I didn't. It's like putting a burning ghost pepper in your lady bits. I've never been more uncomfortable. I had to take an Advil to numb the burning. I don't know how effective it is, since I just started it. Fingers crossed I wake up and bye-bye yeast infection."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I took Monistat one time back in high school, and I remember waking my parents up because I was screaming with terrible itching and burning. I have had many YIs since then, but have told that story to every doctor and have been prescribed Diflucan instead. Awww... what a magical little pill. It’s amazing. You take it, and instead of itching and burning, you wake up, and your YI is hardly noticeable. So imagine my dismay when I find out that I cannot take Diflucan because I was just put on Lexapro, and they have a slight reaction with each other (could cause rapid heartbeat). At this point, with the itching I am feeling, I would rather have the rapid heartbeat."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I went and got this product because I had some mild itching, and I’ve had a YI before. Any other time I’ve used Monistat 3. I went to Walmart, they only had Monistat 1. I didn’t have any burning sensation prior to inserting the 'pill.' Now my vagina is on fire, omg, it stings so bad when I urinate. I’ve never had issues with Monistat, but I feel like the #1 formula may be too strong. So please be mindful that it does cause a burning sensation that is very uncomfortable. I honestly was confused and didn’t know what was going on because I only had mild itching prior to using the product, no burning. I took it as a precautionary solution to the onset of a YI based off of one minor symptom. Now I’m regretting life."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had this when I was younger for a yeast infection. And I remember it was working fine then. I don’t know if they’ve changed the formula or what, but about an hour in, it started leaking, and it itched worse than I’ve ever experienced. YIs have NOTHING on this. It’s so unbearable, I’ve sent my boyfriend out to get me something to flush it out with. I can’t sleep, and my lady bits hurt from the constant wiping I’m doing to relieve the itch. DO NOT waste $20 on this!!"
