"I found this medicine very useful for pain. I had my ankle operated on, and they prescribed this to me. I have to agree with most of the reviews. I felt little to no pain, but I slept all the time, and now when my ankle becomes painful, I will take a pill, and I have to lay down. My mouth stayed dry the whole time, I couldn't get enough liquids in me."

"I tolerated this drug very well after dental surgery and regret that it is no longer available. The combination of Demerol and promethazine created a medicine that tended to be more effective for pain than Demerol tablets. I had no unpleasant side effects. Easy to use, difficult to get."

"I took this after a botched ex-implant surgery when it had to be redone a 2nd time. The first surgeon cut into the implant which leaked out into the body cavity then a second surgeon had to go in and clean up his mess. This helped keep me out of pain while my body was resting, repairing and regenerating. Of course, I slept most of the time. The 2nd M.D. was much better and more informed that the first one. It really helped and I was on it about 2.5 weeks. I didn't have any side effects coming off of it."

"It was great for a migraine, and I took it after I got home from the ER."

"I used this medicine every day for sixteen years. It didn't really help that much with pain, but it took me out of reality, so I didn't care if I was in pain. Not an addicting feeling, so when I stopped it cold turkey when I moved to a different state, I didn't feel sick for not having it."
