Lofexidine "I am a big baby with detox. Went to a fancy rehab to get off Suboxone, wow. This stuff is amazing. I'm on Day 4 of Suboxone withdrawal, and it's minimal. Minimal. Minimal. Please trust me. This stuff is amazing."

Lofexidine "This drug was amazing. I was coming off of fentanyl I.V. use. Pretty heavy usage. It was able to block my withdrawals almost entirely. I am actually amazed at how well it worked. I recommend it wholly."

Lofexidine "This drug was recommended to me by my doctor, who didn’t know much about it. I did a little research on it, and because I also didn’t know anything about it, I’ll continue to be stuck on Suboxone for another year, weaning myself down gradually. I was on the lowest milligram of Suboxone, and it took me a whole year to get enough courage to finally try Lucemyra. It changed my life. I have been off all opiates now for over six months, and I can’t even tell you how great I feel. How friendly the pharmacy techs were really great, explaining to me the process. The best part was it was free! It was not covered under my insurance, but my doctor just had to write a referral for me, and it was paid for. I hope that everybody is able to try this new drug. I only had to take it for like a week. I wish I would’ve done it a long time ago."

Lofexidine "I am almost to the last two tapering days, and I'm already feeling almost completely healthy and normal. I thought I'd need the maximum 14-day treatment, but it looks like the 9-day treatment will be plenty sufficient. I was on fentanyl for months before I went to a methadone clinic to get help, and I went there for just over a year and was up to 170 mg a day. I was so worried and afraid that I'd end up withdrawing for the maximum of 20 to 35 days because of the research I looked up about the methadone withdrawal timeline, stating that the withdrawal can go on for 14 days to just over a month depending on how high your daily dose is and how long you've been taking it. I'm 34 and still in decent health, so this medication seemed safe for me. But if you have heart or health problems, then I would absolutely talk to a knowledgeable doctor if possible before starting this medication, just to be cautious. As far as side effects, I barely even got dry mouth or lightheadedness when standing. It REALLY helps."

Lofexidine "This was an absolute game changer for me. I went from oxy to fentanyl, and this saved me. I lost it for three days in the middle of withdrawals, and thank goodness I found it. I never could have gotten clean without this medication. I opted for this over Suboxone and recommend it to everyone I meet struggling with that kind of addiction. It will make you tired, but you can start taking less and less, and it is a short-term medication."

Lofexidine "I will take the dizziness for three days with this over the horrific withdrawal symptoms ANY DAY! I did not have any of the awful withdrawal symptoms. Just severe dizziness, weakness, fatigue, and insomnia that my Lunesta helped with. I also took Imodium. I have been a pain management patient for seven years for debilitating pains due to autoimmune diseases. I take 15 mg OxyContin extended release two times a day and Oxycodone 15 mg immediate release two times a day. I can now once a month purge my body of the pain meds and hit the reset button so that it keeps working the way I need it to relieve the pain. Not just pop pills to keep away the withdrawal symptoms and not even get any pain relief because my body is so used to it it won’t relieve pain anymore. I’m in control now, not my pain meds! I took two pills every six hours day one and two, then day three, one pill every six hours, then half a pill every eight hours days four. I never took the full three pills. Got samples of it from my doctor."

Lofexidine "I had spent 20 years on Subutex, a.k.a. Suboxone. I tampered myself down to 4 mg for the past 3 years, and I used Lucemyra to get off finally, and it did wonders. No restless leg syndrome, no cold hot flashes, no creepy crawling feeling, and I am a little over 2 weeks with no subs, and I feel great. Yes, this medication makes you so tired you don’t even want to get up to walk to the bathroom, but I will take that all day over feeling withdrawal symptoms. The last time I got off subs, I was just off of 24 mg a day with nothing, I didn’t even take Tylenol. It was the worst experience of my life. I have been reading reviews about some people taking Lucemyra who had to go to the hospital. I guess it’s hit or miss with some people on this drug, but I would say give it a try. It’s only money, and yes, a lot of money. Cost me $2,500 to fill 96 pills, but there are programs if you go to the Lucemyra website to get it for as little as $300."

Lofexidine "It helped take the withdrawals away. But sent me to the hospital twice, about to die. It lowered my potassium and magnesium, which caused my heart rate to drop down to 44. I was given shots of atropine in an IV, which brought me back up. Stayed in the hospital for 5 days. Had a few EKGs, which showed my heart was not beating right. Was literally about to die. In the hospital, they put me on clonidine, and I got better. Lucemyra gave me a severely dry mouth, dizziness, no appetite, weakness, could barely walk, food tasted weird, and just no energy. I felt disassociated and had super high blood pressure. It may work for some, but for me, there are too many risks, I’ll stick with clonidine."

Lofexidine "Went to detox for Suboxone and Valium and vodka. Did vodka detox with Ativan. Then buprenorphine taper. Was fine. No shakes or nothing. Started Lucemyra, guessing doctors get a portion of the gigantic cost of the drug. Left me just hitting the floor if I tried to stand up. Counselors witnessed, nurses made aware but kept giving it. Once I got out and stopped, can’t afford $2000. Shakes hit, haven’t eaten in 3 days. Tremors from head to toe. Can’t stand without nearly passing out. Not in a good way. Avoid at all costs. Refuse it."

Lofexidine "I have read all the reviews, and I am really scared to take this medication. My doctor prescribed it to me, and I was advised that it was the only medication he prescribes for patients coming off opioids. I have been taking extended-release for 9 years now. I just don’t want to go through the aches, pains, sweats, chills, etc. This medication costs $2,000, and the reviews are scary. You would think for that amount of money it would work with fewer problems. My doctor will not prescribe any other medications other than this, and I'm confused as to why he only suggests this when all he had to do was read up on it like I did. He’s the doctor. I just want to get better. I was in a car wreck and was prescribed opioids, and my tolerance over the years has become very addictive. I pray for anyone that has to go through this and spend thousands of dollars on a medication that has so many bad reviews. I’m confused as to why it was approved."

"This drug, lofexidine, was NOT helpful at all. I have spinal stenosis, a bulging disc, degenerative disc disease (DDD), scoliosis, and suffer from severe debilitating migraines. Not a candidate for surgery because of DDD. This medication made me dizzy and confused, elevated my blood pressure to 195/127, and made me have severe pain in my left breast, which radiated to my left jaw. Honestly, I thought I was having a heart attack. I also experienced several abdominal pains and bloating. I have already been cut from a massive amount of opiates and am taking a minimal amount of opiates at the moment. I would like my doctor to just leave my dosage alone, stick with the current levels of meds, and quit using me as a lab rat."

Lofexidine "Was hooked on the Mexican fents for 4 months. Started taking Lucemyra in conjunction with buprenorphine. I tried the buprenorphine by itself and with the Lucemyra during the first 72 hours. Can honestly say Lucemyra did nothing. Absolutely nothing. If it wasn't in a bottle directly from the pharmacy, I would speculate that my doc gave me a placebo."

Lofexidine "I take this as my go-to (with methocarbamol secondarily depending on the symptoms). The two together cover pretty much all the withdrawal symptoms I experience. Was on Suboxone from 9/2022 - 2/2024. Started brixadi shots to wean off films and have the Suboxone leave very slowly. Stopped after four months. Since then, it took about a month for the symptoms to start. Apart from being a bit tired when I take the two close in time, together there are no symptoms and all has been great. Highly recommend the combo."

Lofexidine "My husband and I both have been on Suboxone 8/2mg for 8 years, 2 a day. We’ve tapered down to basically a sliver a day now. We have a little stockpile of samples of Lucemyra from the doctor, but oh my god, reading about it... whoa! I don't know how scary."

Lofexidine "I’m a 40-year-old female who started on oxycodone after a car accident around 2012 and progressed to heroin, then on Suboxone for several years and relapsed and have been using fentanyl since I guess 2020 or so (nasal use). I detoxed on clonidine and hydroxyzine at a detox facility, but they would only give me those meds for 7 days and then tried to push me onto Zubsolv, so I left and got super sick and relapsed again. I just started this medication today, on my 3rd dose of 3 0.18 mg tablets, and I made the mistake of reading these reviews just after I took my 1st dose this morning and had myself so psyched out, but I’m finally feeling okay. I don’t normally have higher blood pressure, so I got a little worried reading these reviews, but I’ve also read a ton of other info that says this medication has had less serious side effects than clonidine."

"All I can say is that it is a wonder pill. I was coming off methadone. I stopped at 10 milligrams to try these pills. I was told by a lot of people that they are brilliant. The only thing about the pills is you feel a bit dizzy, nothing to worry about. I had no withdrawals. I could sleep even though I was given 2 zimmos to help sleep, I didn't need them. I did this detox in prison in a medical wing and the 19 of us all felt the same. We were all okay and shocked that we had no sweat, pains, anything that you get from methadone or opiate withdrawal. What I don't understand is why this drug is not being given out instead of crappy methadone. I can tell you now, if you want off the green handcuffs, try to get your doctor to put you on lofexidine. You won't believe how good these are and you won't have any withdrawal symptoms when you finish the 2-week course. Just do it right, drink lots and lots of fluids. As I see it, it's a wonder drug for opioid and methadone people. People need to know that there is this drug to help and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Trust me."

Lofexidine "Lucemyra saved our life! We had ZERO withdrawals, and that’s not over-exaggerating. I believe everyone in opioid withdrawal deserves them. It’s SO HARD to get them nowadays, like SO HARD. But I’m so thankful my husband and I got the opportunity to try these, and it truly worked. A lot of people don’t believe us, shit, we didn’t believe people either, because where has this pill been our whole lives?"
