For Emergency Contraception "About a month ago, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. We are only 19 and not ready to be parents, so I did some research and found Plan B as an option. Still, I was scared because it was only our first time... I bought it that same day, and about 5 hours later I took it. I really thought it wasn't going to work, and about a week later I started feeling like crap. I started spotting, I felt bloated along with being gassy, breast tenderness, cramps, headaches, and nausea. I was freaking out when I saw all of those were signs of pregnancy. I was so stressed, but then my period came. So DO NOT STRESS or look up anything to freak you out! It's not worth all of it... let God do His job and you'll be fine."

For Emergency Contraception "My boyfriend and I had sex about 2 weeks ago, and the condom broke. As teenagers with our whole life ahead of us, we absolutely freaked. We drove to the store, and I took the pill within 20-30 minutes after the mishap. After reading these reviews (much like some of you panicking right now), it really helped me to feel better. A week later, on my usual day, I got my period! I experienced some nausea, headaches, tender breasts, and weird moods, but it didn't help that I was already suffering from a minor cold. I am so happy and thankful for Plan B - it literally saved my life!!! My best advice is to stay as calm as possible - stressing can make the symptoms and waiting worse. Let your guy know you need as much support as possible! Breathe, ladies :)"

For Emergency Contraception "This is my fourth time in about 5 years taking Plan B One-Step. I always take it about 2 hrs after unprotected sex. It works 100%! It is miserable because you're emotional, cramping, and I also get headaches. However, my husband and I are still students, and we don't have money or time for a baby. Please, please, please think about your options. This is one! It is over the counter and easy to take."

For Emergency Contraception "I decided to share my experiences because this forum has helped me quite a lot. The pill really works!!! My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. He didn’t finish inside, but I was worried about pre-cum. Plus, it was my first time. When I had sex, it was the day I was ovulating. Made me 10x scared. I took Plan B just to be safe. A week later, I got all the symptoms: headaches, dizziness, abdominal pain, etc. But I finally got my period on the day I was supposed to get it. Now I can finally stop worrying. I now learned my lesson and to always use a condom. This pill works! AND DON'T READ TOO MUCH! It will make you sick. Please do not stress yourself, you will be fine!!"

For Emergency Contraception "If you’re like me, I repeatedly read these reviews after I took Plan B and was stressed to the max. I am happy to announce that my period came in just three days early, and I took the pill during my ovulation. I am so thankful for Plan B! On a lesser note, I did have headaches and fatigue with the pill, although I am beginning to feel a lot like myself. I took the pill at about 22 hours."

For Emergency Contraception "I was also looking at reviews, worried I was pregnant. A guy finished inside me while I was ovulating, and I’m not on BC or anything, so I panicked. We bought Plan B, and I took it an hour after he had finished. I was so paranoid it wasn’t gonna work because I have bad luck, and I’m not in the “weight limit” people claim there is to be, but it worked for me. My period came 1 month after it happened, and I’m not pregnant!! Good luck, girls, and don’t worry because the stress will push back your period like mine. I wrote this because, like others, I said if it worked for me, I’d write a review to help others in the situation I was in. Side effects: I was having light bleeding 1 week after I took the pill, would have cramps, and some light headaches."

For Emergency Contraception "I promised that I would write my review if this pill worked! Basically, my partner and I got a little carried away, he came outside of me, and then we went for round two (condomless) before he could use the restroom and get rid of the leftover sperm. I wasn’t on birth control at the time. I took the pill approximately 12-13 hours after the deed and also started my birth control at the same time. This meant that I had to wait a little longer to see results. While waiting, I had a lot of symptoms: the worst cramping in my life, headaches, nausea, and fatigue for around a week and a half. Luckily, my period came during my placebo week and… I’m not pregnant! Woohoo! To the person reading this and worrying about whether it will work, please trust the pill! I was just like you and worried myself to death about possibly getting pregnant. But it does work!!!"

For Emergency Contraception "Okay, I said I'd come back with my result. I officially got my period (yesterday), 10 days after taking the pill. I was 5 days late. The pill worked for me! I am 215 lbs. Don't stress! I was just like you, worried, scared, even terrified that I might be pregnant. Note: I did not have any side effects until 2 days before my period came: light spotting, headache, nausea, diarrhea. The pill works! Don't stress too much. It will only delay your period longer! Good luck, ladies!"

For Emergency Contraception "This page literally kept me sane for almost a month! On the 5th of November, my partner and I had sex, and when he pulled out, the condom was nowhere to be seen. Instantly freaked when there was no other place it could be other than in me! I was STRESSING! Straight away, maybe half an hour after the incident, I took the Plan B. The symptoms I had were fatigue, mild cramping, headaches, and loss of appetite. Everyone will experience this differently. I was due to get my monthly at any point after the incident, and lo and behold, 3 days later I got my period, there was no spotting, the girl just made a grand entrance lol! My period was a lot heavier, and the cramps for the first 3 days were hell, but like another girl replied on this, it's better than an unplanned pregnancy! Trust this pill, yes, you will automatically freak and go looking for answers and advice, and I hope you find this page before anything! Stay safe, girls, we need more pages like this ❤️❤️❤️"

For Emergency Contraception "So my boyfriend and I had sex, the condom broke, and we didn't realize until after he had finished inside of me (mega bummer). I took the Plan B pill probably 30-45 minutes after we realized what had happened. The side effects hit HARD starting the same day: nausea, lower back pain, sore boobs, absolutely killer cramps, headache, fatigue, the whole thing. It made me feel like I was actually dying, but then 5 days later I got my period. It's super heavy flow, and I have the worst cramps I've ever had, but I'm assuming this means I'm not pregnant. Rather the side effects than a child :-)"

For Emergency Contraception "I made a stupid mistake and had unprotected sex on my predicted fertile day. I took the Plan B pill a few hours later. For the next two weeks, I felt cramps and tender breasts. I was worried that those were signs of pregnancy, so I was stressed for a while. But thank goodness I got my period today. It's a day early, but that's better than nothing. I am so happy right now, even though I have a terrible headache. Anyway, from my experience, this pill does work. Honestly, do not stress about it. Even if you feel cramps or tender breasts, it may just be the side effects from the pill. So don't worry. I hope for the best :)"

For Emergency Contraception "I was so freaked out after taking this pill, but it ended up working on me, so I thought I should put a review for people who are stressing as much as I was! My boyfriend and I were worried about precum because I was ovulating, so I took the pill around 14 hours after the incident. After a day or two, I had uncomfortable bloating, headaches, real bad mood swings, brown discharge, and darkened nipples for a little over a week, and these symptoms had me stressing so bad thinking I was pregnant! The only time it got better was when I started taking hot baths to relax, and I stopped googling symptoms (except for looking at reviews on this website because they helped), and then I got my period today (2 weeks after the pill) around 4 days early, so thank goodness! The cramps suck, but I’m happy :) Good luck, everyone, it’s best to not stress yourself out."

For Emergency Contraception "Like many others, I promised to write a review because these posts helped calm me down. I had unprotected sex with no condom, and he came fully in me. On my Flo app, it was two days after ovulation, and I was really worried I’d get pregnant because I read that Plan B does not work after you ovulate. I took the pill within an hour. The next day, I felt fine, the second day after I took the pill, I felt slight cramping, and the cramps went on until I got my period!!! I got it two days early. My period was really painful and had the worst cramps I’ve ever had. I took a lot of pain relievers and experienced headaches during my period. I still have some cramping, but my period ends today. I’m not sure if I should take a pregnancy test or not, but I’m pretty sure I’m in the clear. Please calm down, Plan B should work."

For Emergency Contraception "I promised myself as soon as I started my period I would share my experience to help those who are unsure of if it works. I had sex on December 23, and the condom broke, we got Plan B about 30 minutes later. Then again on the 24, we had sex again, but the condom didn’t break. After taking the pill, I had a little spotting for like 2-3 days. Other than that, I had mild headaches and a little cramping, which isn’t bad considering I didn’t get pregnant, which is the exact goal. This pill WORKS. I was supposed to get my period 2 weeks ago, and I just got it today - so don’t worry if your period is late, that is just what the hormones can do. I know it’s hard to stay calm and not stressed because those 2 weeks of waiting were so scary, but just know it WILL WORK :)"

For Emergency Contraception "I took Plan B about 30 hours after I had sex with my boyfriend. My period wasn't due for a week and a half, but the wait was driving me crazy. A week after I took Plan B, I started spotting. My period was late 3 days, and it started out really heavy. It lasted for 5 days. Two weeks after my period, I felt abdominal pain, headaches, hot flashes, and sickness. It's been 3 weeks since I took Plan B, and I'm still experiencing those symptoms. I'm not sure if it's because of pregnancy signs or something like my system still adjusting after Plan B was out of my body. My period is due at the end of next week, and I'm worried. I did a home pregnancy test today, and that came up negative."

For Emergency Contraception "Not sure if it's God's grace or I could be just infertile after my termination earlier in the year. I've taken Plan B about 4 times in a year after my accidents, and it has worked on all occasions. In my recent occasion, it was the most frightening experience. I had intercourse the day before my ovulation day and purchased the pill 18 hours later. To make things worse, my partner and I had sex again 2 days later without protection, and he fully came in me, but I decided to not take another because I was scared it may be too much for my teen body. I had experienced all the pregnancy symptoms in the weeks to come, from heavy swollen boobs, dizziness, headaches, frequent urination, back pain, vivid dreams, to constant lower abdominal pain. I had already sealed my fate. After sleepless nights and overthinking, my pregnancy test came out negative, and I got my period the same day (a day earlier than expected). So I can say Plan B does work, but the stress is so, so, so not worth it!!!"

For Emergency Contraception "I am only a teenager, very young. Only being the end of grade 10. And I had unexpected and unfortunately unprotected sex with my boyfriend on Friday around 8 pm. He pulled out before finishing, although I was and am terrified about precum. He told me about Plan B and offered to pay for it. I took it at approximately 10 am the following Saturday. I experienced headache and fatigue. I took a nap, and the symptoms went away. My expected period is next week, and I just want to say thank you to everyone writing these reviews because you've calmed me down so much."

For Emergency Contraception "Had unprotected sex near my ovulation date and freaked out, so I went to go get the Plan B pill. Was $24 since my insurance covered some of it and had my boyfriend pay for it. I was really nauseous on and off, had headaches, and was dizzy. I was REALLY tired too. My period came two weeks earlier, and it was really bad. Had big blood clots, really heavy period. The cramps were terrible. It was an unpleasant experience. BUT no baby. So that's good. Really helped. Really wish guys would go through this too. It's really unfair all we women go through."

For Emergency Contraception "Just like you, I was reading these, freakin' out, so I'm here to share my experience! My boyfriend and I were having sex, the condom broke, and we didn't know. He always pulls out but does as he's cumming. I took the pill 11 hours after our mishap. Did some research, and I was ovulating the day it happened, of course, I freaked out! Stomach cramps, headaches, back pain, vaginal discharge, and fatigue were all of the side effects I had from the pill. But I started my period almost a week early! I also took a pregnancy test 2 weeks after the mishap, and it came back negative. I'm not gonna tell you to not stress because I know I did."

For Emergency Contraception "I used Plan B about 27 hours after I had sex and he ejaculated in me. I had just gotten off of my period the day prior. I was still spotting here and there. I experienced side effects from this pill up until this week. I started my period today, 4 days late. Week one, I had cramps and bleeding, so a second 'period' a week after my first one. Week two to three, I experienced cramps, mood swings, breast pain, anxiety, headaches, and EXTREME fatigue and nausea. I just KNEW I was pregnant (but wasn't!!). This pill will make you feel pregnant. I have a child, and I promise you I had the same symptoms with her. I have taken this medication 3 times, and it has never failed me. I have taken it literally on ovulation day and gotten my period. It works."

For Emergency Contraception "So I am not on any type of birth control, I basically just use condoms for sex since I don't do it often. He used a condom, but it broke, which has never happened to me before. We got Plan B not even 15 minutes after it happened, I took it and felt fine with no symptoms. I use Clue as a period tracker, and of course, I forgot to input my last period, so I guessed with the date, and I had sex on my most fertile day, which was so unlucky. A couple of days later, my breasts started really hurting on the sides, I had the lightest headache for about a week that just wouldn't go away, I had a cramp in my side like you would get if you went running, and I had no appetite. A couple of days later, I had spotting, and I really thought it was the end for me, I was so freaked out 'cause I'm 18 and I just started college. I finally got my period, so the advice I have would be to just let Plan B work. If you used other protection as well, you should be fine. Just relax!!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took Plan B One-Step 7 days ago (Sunday). I was days before ovulation and fertile at the time, so I took the pill the following day (Monday). I had no side effects. However, recently (Friday), I was extremely dizzy and had a massive headache for about 2 hours. So I ate, relaxed, and laid back for a minute, and it was gone. So side effects can come days later. But hopefully, like mine, they are short-lived. I still haven't gotten my period, but it isn't due for a couple of weeks."

For Emergency Contraception "So I promised to do a review on this if it worked! I took the pill on January 2, like 2-3 hours after the situation. I did crush my pill because I can’t swallow pills, lol. If anyone was wondering if it still works crushed, 5 days after I took the pill, I bled for like 3-4 days, like a period, but it wasn’t a period (it’s normal to bleed after taking the pill). I didn’t experience any side effects until like two weeks later. I had horrible headaches, breast pain, cramps, I was very emotional, and I kinda ate a lot. It’s very similar to period symptoms and pregnancy symptoms. I was worried the whole month, I stressed so much about it."

For Emergency Contraception "I told myself to write a review if it worked or not. I took Plan B over a month ago, a day later from my experience, which I know was better late than never. I had horrible side effects, though, for the next 3-5 weeks. I bled for 3 days a week after taking it, then had cramps, headaches, and weird bloating. I was super anxious that it had failed, and I went on here to read the reviews to help me stress less. Well, I finally got my period, and it’s super bad but 17 days late. Stress will delay your period further, and I know it’s hard not to worry about it. I will never do this again, it’s not worth the stress, but at least I know I’m okay now."
