For Hepatitis C "In 1 week (yes, 1), my loads went from 5 million to just 30! Doctor said he never heard of such a thing. Did labs again 3 weeks in, and I am hep C free. I no longer live with the uncertainty of hep C, lol! I felt exhausted that first week and slightly nauseous, but now I have so much more energy and feel great!"

For Hepatitis C "My husband had Hep C for many years, and it had turned into cirrhosis. He tried another treatment many years earlier, but it didn’t work. In 2016, he was approved for Harvoni. He experienced many side effects, such as nausea, aches and pains, insomnia, and vision changes during his time on this medicine. After several weeks of treatment, we went to the hospital for severe sickness. They informed us that my husband had cancer of his liver and pancreas. A week later, we returned to his gastroenterologist, where he met us with a big smile to tell us he was Hep C negative. None of the previous MRIs or CT scans showed any sign of cancer before treatment. I am convinced that Harvoni caused my husband cancer and ultimately his death later that same year."

For Hepatitis C "Been carrying the virus around for 40 years. Starting week 9 of a 12-week treatment. Drug is easy to use, take a pill once a day, that is it. Side effects for me have been: exhaustive tiredness, reduced motivation, loss of appetite, intestinal gas, pain, flatulence, some nausea, a few headaches, blurry vision, inflammatory flares of the GI tract, tinnitus during the flares, bouts of depression, feeling not so much sick as just feeling really low. Can only eat very small portions of anything; also have constipation. Oh, and must mention the weird heightened sense of smell. Symptoms have gradually increased as weeks go by. At first sporadic but now almost daily. I suppose because of the med buildup in my body. It's not a cakewalk, but it's what we've got. Counting down the days until I can begin restoring and healing. Thinking about time at a spa resort to jump-start things, massage, some chiropractic adjustments, etc. as I begin to build back stamina and strength. Good luck and take care!"

For Hepatitis C "In week ten and getting through it, but the side effects are difficult. Fatigue and cloudy-minded, as well as headaches and nausea. It's worth it though. I fought my insurance company for 2 years and finally bought it overseas myself for 1100."

For Hepatitis C "Today I took the number 28, and tomorrow a visit with the doctor, and analysis of blood and urine to see how it works ... I'll tell you how it is. Side effects: only headache one day and two days of nausea, but all very light."

For Hepatitis C "Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with this medicine. It destroyed me! I had a very low viral load and an F0 degree. I did 3 months of treatment in 2018. In the 5th week, I started losing weight, experiencing gastrointestinal problems, body aches, nausea, blurred vision, unbalanced, heart problems, and kidney problems, among others. Today, those with a grade F0 only do 4 weeks of treatment. I didn't have the virus in the 3rd week, but I was 'forced' to do the 3 months. I lost 30 kg in 2 months. I felt healthy before the treatment. I surfed, I worked, and I had a completely normal life. Today at 50, I look like an old man waiting for death. Harvoni for me was awful, and I know many who died from the same, and others are suffering like me. How I wish I could go back. I suffer from chronic pain, severe anhidrosis, trauma to the nerves and spinal cord, constant infections, etc. My doctor said it was Harvoni, and unfortunately, I had bad luck, and he is sorry."

For Hepatitis C "I am almost finished with my 8-week treatment. The first month was rough. I had headaches, night sweats, fatigue, nausea, and would wake up around 3 a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep for 3-5 hours. Month 2 was better. No more night sweats or nausea. Headache not as bad, and I'm sleeping better and have energy. I developed large, somewhat itchy rashes on my abdomen at the start of the 2nd month, but they are clearing up now. I wouldn't have wanted to go to work during this treatment and was fortunate enough to have some time off and then work from home. The virus was still detectable at 4 weeks, but very low. My starting viral load was 385,000, and I have substantial fibrosis. I've always been VERY sensitive to medications and supplements, so I was glad I could handle the treatment. I can't rate it yet because I don't know if I'm cured yet."
